I like the fit. The inside pockets are under my armpits, so I wont be using them. This 80% wool coat seems to draw a lot of lint. I have to take this coat in to the cleaners, as half of the buttons are loose. Since it was shipped in a bag as opposed to a box, it is quite wrinkled.I encountered a problem after having the coat dry cleaned. The problem is the buttons seemed to have been paintedblack, and after having had it dry cleaned the buttons are white around the edges. This is no longer a good look. Is this normal?

The Jacket fits to size. I recommend ignoring the size chart and just buy the size you know works for you.Anyone claiming it's too large doesn't know what size they are.Yes, the sleeves are long, but it's designed that way on purpose. Not everyone is proportioned the same way and if they made the sleeves shorter, people with longer arms are hooped. Just take it to a tailor.Yes, the collar is scratchy, but it's brand-new wool. If you're worried you can brush it for a while and it will soften up. Also, you can wear a hoodie underneath or a scarf and you won't notice.Fantastic quality. Very rare to find a Peacoat with this high percentage of wool.Very warm. I'm walking around in 4C weather and it's nice and toasty.Very satisfied. I'll update in a few months and let you know if it's built to last, but my guess is yes.Far superior to the last blended wool peacoat I bought from TipTop Tailors.

The navy blue color and design is so smooth. My old black Navy P-Coat issue was nice but this one is way better looking. I'm 5'9, 190 lbs so I opt for an XL and as you can see it's a perfect fit. There's even a lil extra room, in case I need to wear a suit underneath. The material has some good weight to it, making it thick, and warm. You won't be disappointed! When it arrives don't be surprised if the sleeves are too long. I think this is by design (better to have more material than not enough, I suppose). I had my local Taylor/seamstress shop shorten the sleeves for only $55. And now it's perfect!

This is a well made wool pea coat. Much like my authentic Naval Pea Coat in the 70’s. The wool is a good, thick type that would be warm and last for years. Like other reviews the sizing is off. I’m 6’2” and weigh 250 lbs. Gotta 50 inch belly. I do not have to wear long sizes. The XXXL is to narrow in the belly by 3-4 inches. I could button it but way too tight. And then there are the sleeves. About 5 inches too long. So great coat. Would buy and recommend it, but I don’t want to have to take it to a tailor. I also have a white dog so I would prefer gray coat, which I could not find in their store.

...S sitzt eher wie L. Der Mantel ist so quadratisch geschnitten, dass er vermutlich nur Spongebob passt. Im Bauchbereich ist es viel zu geräumig.

I don't understand all the glowing reviews. This coat has all kinds of issues. Despite it being cheaper than most wool peacoats, it's still not worth the price.First, the wool is rough, scratchy, and cheap feeling. I have had many other wool coats in my life and never felt such a rough wool. It doesn't feel nice against the skin and not a lot of wools do but this was just awful. Granted there is a liner but your hands, wrist, neck will all be exposed to the outer shell. Also, after trying the coat on in my bathroom, my vanity was covered in little black fibers.Second, the sizing on this coat is all over the place. I'm 5"10", 175lbs and wear a medium in just about everything. My chest is roughly 39-40" I ordered a medium and the arms were too long and the chest was too big. I ordered a small and the arms fit good along with the chest but the length was a bit too short. It probably would have been OK except for the slit in the back. More on that below.Third, the lapel flaps (not sure what else to call them) do not have a nice fold in them. Even with the coat closed, they will protrude out. I even laid the coat out with some weight over the flaps for a few days and they still wouldn't hold the fold. Maybe if you took it to a dry cleaner they could press a fold in but it shouldn't have to be that way. This issue was present in both the medium and the small that I ordered.Lastly, the slit in the back of the coat (at the bottom), comes up too high. Maybe it's just because of the small being a tad short but I did compare it to a blazer I had and the slit on this coat was much longer. It basically came up halfway between my waist and mid back. Also, that part of the jacket tended to stick out as well much like the lapel flaps.Needless to say, both of the coats were returned. Don't put much faith in the high reviews.

I don't usually write reviews but so please with this item I felt I had to.Fit: I'm 5.9" height and athletic build "Medium" fits perfectly, covers my backside and comes down to top of my thighs. Sleeves are perfect length. Coat is big enough to wear with a fleece or sweater underneath. Could have been made to measure for me.Quality: The quality is excellent, it's heavy and warm. Material is thick and I have no reason to doubt this is 80% wool. Has two inner pockets either side with a nice quilted lining. All the stitching and seems are spot on. Plenty of spare button inside.I'm general pretty fussy and I appreciate quality. This jacket is just what I was after, don't waste money getting more expensive designer items. This is spot on in my humble opinion. Really pleased, feels great, looks very smart, understated and goes with anything. I'm sure I have this coat for years!

This pea coat is very similar to the one issued to me by the US Navy in 1969. It is very good quality and very warm even in minus 10 degree Wisconsin weather. It is slightly snug in the chest compared to my sport coats and suit coats of the same size. I purchased the XXL, I should have ordered the XXXL for a looser fit had I known this coat was a more fitted cut. I am 6'-2'', 193 LB, 43'' chest, 34'' waist. My wife likes the fit, says it looks great and is the right fit. I just like a little looser coat, but I kept it because everything else, like the sleeve length, coat length is good. One negative, the blue buttons did not cut it. I replaced them with the original black US government buttons issued to the US Navy for the period of 1965-1984. Now it looks Great!

I had one of these years ago, and I lost it when I totaled a vehicle. I've been looking for that exact one ever since, and this is it.I'm 6'0" and about 215lbs. My shoulders are average and my chest is probably a little larger than average. I couldn't remember the size of the original coat, so I measured my chest and shoulders and ordered the XXL according to the measurements they supplied. It was a bit too large for me, so I returned it and ordered the XL. It's perfect.I normally wear hoodies, but this coat keeps you extremely warm for the winter. It looks amazing with either blue jeans and boots, or with a suit. That's probably my favorite thing about it. You can wear it in any social situation. You don't look over-dressed at a bar with your friends, or under-dressed when going out to dinner. The quality is top notch. The lining feels great, and the wool is extremely durable while still looking classy. The buttons are sewn on in a way that you're not worried about them falling off, but they still include spares. This is a very thick coat, so be prepared for that. It isn't that thin material that you might find at Old Navy or Nordstrom. In my opinion, this is the best coat you could buy for the money.
