08-03-2026This filter was great for clearing up sediment in a single family, well water home. I probably could have gotten away with a smaller filter, however I would strongly recommend getting bigger than you need. Great product! Would buy again

08-03-2026Once I found the youtube video guide, this was a piece of cake. I was able to cut my pipe, us a "SharkBite" connection, and get this connected very quickly. I have been monitoring the connection just to be sure I didn't cause any leaks but it has been tight. The process to setup is really easy, and you can get it all setup pretty quickly.

08-03-2026The order shipped extremely fast (next day) however the box included only an unpackaged (loose) housing and the boxed filter. The wrench and mounting hardware were missing. Contacted and they sent me a wrench and metal bracket (still no bolts /screws or manual to identify what size they should be). Measured with calipers and got some 5/16x1” lag screws and washers at the hardware store that worked. My install was held up a week and a half by not having all the parts.It’s a good system, flows well (this has 1” NPT in and out, bought the wrong 3/4 adapters my mistake before it arrived), seems to filter out all the junk from my city water. Just order it well ahead of when you plan to install to make sure everything is there.

He stated this is the best in line filtration system for well water, and it’s the only one they use. I ordered it from amazon and installed it in about an hour. The install is simple and it works flawlessly.It installed and sealed with no leaks and absolutely no reduction in water pressure in the house. Plus, this unit filters out all the sediment and debris that was coming through my unfiltered pipes, and has finally put an end to me having to constantly unscrew faucet fixtures and clean out dirt and debris from the screens inside my sink and shower heads.Prior to buying this unit, I purchased a cheap in line filter from one of the big box home improvement stores, and it leaked around the filter housing and would not seal at all. It was a complete waste of time and money.If you are considering an in line filter for your well then look no further than Big Blue. It works perfectly, is simple to install, doesn’t leak, and doesn’t reduce your water pressure in your house. Plus, the filters are supposed to last quite a long time (according to my plumber) and the replacement filters are very cost effective and simple to replace.Five stars all around for a strong, sturdy, and simple filtration system that just plain works. It’s a great value for the money you spend, and I would Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an in line water filtration system.

08-03-20263 weeks in and we love this filter. We have well and there is alot of iron in our water. This can leave some pretty severe rust residue on kitchen, bathroom fixtures and clothing. We have tried so many different filter and water softener systems. We use r/o system for drinking water but we are go through filters so quickly. I just completed a bathroom remodel and something had to give! This filter is the best one we have ever owned. Pretty easy to install other than having to build a frame for it to sit on. This thing is heavy and our well house is a metal building with nothing close enough to mount it to. I do a fair amount of plumbing jobs but this one was fast and easy. Great product.
