I seriously don't know why people are surprised that this item is not high quality. Yes, it's cheap materials. Yes, it couldn't hold a bunch of heavy stuff. But come on... I paid $40 dollars for something that would be easily twice that at Ikea (and the materials wouldn't be much better). It's cheap for a reason - you're going to get what you paid for. I didn't have anything come damaged, which happens even with high end items. Shocking... I know. The instructions seemed confusing at first, but that's because I thought I knew better than what I thought they were trying to say. If you follow the instructions, you won't put it together backwards like I did the first time. I didn't need wood glue; I'm not sure what people are talking about. It looks nice, but that doesn't mean I'm going to let my kids climb on it. It'll do just fine for their toys. All in all, it's decent for the price. I could've used extra dowels, though I had some ikea ones left over.

The cheapest material and make possible. The wood pieces are put together with nothing but wood dowels, and not even long dowels so they stay. Nothing stays together. There's 6 camlocks on the bottom of the structure, nothing on the top. I couldn't even flip it over to follow the directions. It kept flopping and coming apart. It's kind of tentatively together after nailing on the back, but even that was an adventure of trial and error because the two back panels are the same size despite the shelving being narrower on one side. Not a problem if there were pre-made holes for the nails. There aren't any. So, I had to guess where the middle wood piece and shelves were. The drawers are worthless. They are made of something as flimsy as cereal box cardboard. Not even the typical thick cardboard that's not great, but hold together. This doesn't hold anything without the structure underneath it. The sides are also not even one piece. There's an empty middle that flops and folds on itself. The ends up rubbing on the edging and pulling it off.I bought this at half price and I'm still thinking about returning it. If it didn't fit perfectly into a very strange spot in a corner, I'd definitely return it without a second thought. This is all not even counting that the "like new" resale I got was falling all over the box. It was scratched, with broken and falling off edging and missing a screw. I threw away the box, something I don't ever do, but we had just cleaned up all the recycling and I wanted to keep the house clean... Sigh... Thankfully I only paid like 30 bucks for it. Still.... Not really even worth that much.

Easy to assemble. Great design and sturdy. Great for small space.
Easy to put together and cute to look out. But the drawers are not sturdy and if u but heavy things or multiple things in them they stick out so that everything on the inside is visible. The storage bins STINK. And I mean STINK STINK. I’ve had them for almost a month and have aired them outside and everything but the stench is still prominent when you’re near. (Won’t stink up the entire room but holds the smell which bothers me because I have a sensitive nose)
I really liked the way this item looked online, after reading the other reviews I bought it to prove it can't really be that bad, well I was right, I love this item, it fits perfectly on my small living room wall and holds the go to toys we use often, and looks great too. I had the cubed furniture with the cute kiddie bins, but got sick of the tacky look and they broke, these bins actually hold slightly more than those cube fabric bins, and the two open side shelves hold a lot of kids books. It took me along time to figure out the instructions and it says alot a time of half an hour. Once I knew what I was doing and by the third one...yes I bought three of these it took maybe 15 minutes. I wish these were slightly cheaper in price as it is cheap particle board. I put one in the laundry room for socks and extra clothes, and the Umbra trashcan fits in the side shelf with room above it still...these hold more than the other reviews seem to lead on.TIPS: buy some wood glue to put the two back panels on, it will add stability to the item as you don't risk splitting the particle board with the tiny nails. The instructions are tricky for only front and back instruction page , closely examine the pictures and find all your pieces first. The bottom of the item has 12 tiny puncture holes to screw the legs onto. And when you put the long screws into the bottom just put your fingers on the sides to feel if the screws are going in at an angle and possible splitting the wood. These use cam and spindles, so be sure you have the cam in the right way, there is a small arrow on them telling which way, and screw the spindle into the top board before placing it on the unit and tightening the cams

This is just what I wanted. I am using it in my bathroom. I am able to keep my things separated like one drawer for my toilet paper, another for my hair dryer and brushes etc, another for my towels and one for my cleaning things. It looks great and is very sturdy. The only thing I would say is that it does state on the directions that having 2 people to assemble it is recommended. You really should have 2 people. I tried to do it myself because I am stubborn and think I can do everything myself. That did not go well so I had my son help me. It's not that it is hard to do, it's just much easier because of the steps involved.
