08-03-2026These socks are so comfy!! They are cushy and very warm for my cold feet! The colors are neutral and will go with a lot. I hope they wash well, it says machine wash, which makes it convenient and I don’t have to do it by hand.

08-03-2026I usually turn my socks inside out to wear, as I can't tolerate the hard ridge where the seam has been stitched and goes across the toes. They generally dig in and are uncomfortable.These fabulous socks, as well as being warm, soft, the perfect size and very comfortable...... have NO SEAM across the toes. I'm thrilled!!

08-03-2026These are very nice and warm. Not restricted on my feet and leg, which is very important for my diabetic health. Wash up and dry great. Did cold wash a low dryer. No holes ️ n the toe area especially with my ragged big toe nail. Fit great for my 9.5 shoe and didn’t bunch up in them. Heel area was just at right. I have worn these for a couple of months and don’t look worn out at all. I’ve used them a couple of times for my bed sock and not uncomfortable at all. I’m pretty rough on winter socks and these seem like they will survive through the season and beyond. Main reason I think these are spectacular is I was a sock knitter for my own issue of wanting some wool socks. Wool socks are amazing for the winter because even if they are wet they still stay warm for a long time until you can change them.

I did, however, receive different colors than the picture for "cat-dot" showed - instead of a pair of brown and a pair of white, I received a pair of mauve and a pair of aqua. I DID decide before ordering that I would be happy with whatever colors they sent as long as they were woolen and warm; so the color subs didn't bother me, but if you are very color-specific, be warned, there might be subs!The socks ARE just as a reviewer pictured on the label - 55% wool, 25% cotton, 15% polyester, 5% spandex. My feet are always too warm (unless it is 40° or below) and they get temperature-claustrophobic in enclosed shoes (that are necessary for active-wear activities!), so a high enough wool content was a must and why I ordered these. Another reviewer had mentioned cold feet at work and being able to wear these socks from work's cold zone out into 100° heat, to home and starting dinner before taking them off - this was a sign they *moderate* temperature, instead of just trapping heat in (shoes do that enough).These socks come up about 3-4" above the ankle, NOT mid calf length; again, fine for my needs. I got these to have a pair for my Duck boots, and they are short enough not to be seen, sitting below the higher sherpa cuff of the boot - so colors don't matter for this need. I also got them to have a pair for indoors on colder winter nights, and 3 pairs for regular wear.I agree with other reviewers that they are a bit thick to wear in your regular shoes, but since I size up for boots, they made my Ducks fit perfectly and very comfortably. These woolen socks and the Duck's all-sherpa lining = total weatherproof protection/moderation for rains and cold; that equals feet that are happily content and at the right temperature regardless of what the weather does in the course of a day while you are outside. These are great boot socks, if you order boots a size or half-size up.Putting the socks on, they are just the right density - not super thick not too thin - plush and cushy, soft and comfortable, perfect boot or lounging socks. Might be a bit too thick to get in shoes, but they also have a medium-weight sock set for that, if it is what you are wanting. I am very glad I found and ordered these, after looking for hours for socks that wouldn't make my feet crazy at the thought of going into boots. These socks are that perfect solution - especially for hot feet, for boots, for lounging.I did not find the socks to lack or vary in thickness or quality. BTW, *any* manufacturing process can have the occasional quality control blip. If it happens, try contacting the company and let them know. Most of the time, they will replace those items.I did not find any issues with these socks. They made even my shoes-and-socks-averse feet all smiles from the time I tried them on.Great value for the price and very comfortable. Perfect loungewear and boot socks for happy feet. Plush and cushy enough to feel indulgent without being too much. Not itchy or scratchy, just regulated comfort within regardless of what is going on outside.

My only problem is that after 1 wear and 1 wash, I already have rips in one of the pairs. A bit upsetting, but the others have stayed fine after washing
