I bought this as a concealed carry jacket and it absolutely sucks for that. While the pocket is technically large enough for a full size pistol, the retention method is a piece of elastic like you'd find on a pair of tighty-whities. And it angles the pistol so its straight up with the barrel point down, so your hand has to find the pistol grip and pull up while your other hand pulls the jacket down so the pistol doesnt hang. And it prints... Horribly. It would be smarter to open carry than depend on this solution. Nevermind that if its just floating in your jacket with no retention or trigger guard there is a high chance of shooting yourself in the leg. I would strongly prefer a well secured leather strap in the pocket, with a buckle, at an angle, so all belt holsters could be used with various different pistols.So if it sucks sooo bad, why am i leaving a five star review? While the designers are obviously not gun people and never tested it for that purpose, the jacket itself is epic. Its not a high grade leather, BUT the Taylors made excellent craftsmanship decisions in hiding the natural imperfections in the leather in non obvious places. The marketing says its cow leather, but it feels thicker to me. Maybe Yak leather?? The jacket feels VERY heavy and fits like a second skin. The zipper is SAB, which one would think is a compromise, but its amazing. It actually feels smoother and more durable than YKK. I've had it for about a year and Im starting to get some wear marks on the leather, but for the price its holding up remarkably well. Its not water PROOF, but it is water resistant. If you zip it all the way up and tilt your clin down, the collar makes a decent seal with your helmet. I love that you can zip it all the way up for winter rides and zip it half way down in the summer for ventilation. This is not the best motorcycle jacket you can buy, but i believe it is the best value.

This X-large leather jacket is everything I wanted, A conceal pocket for my 380, I haven't tried it yet but I'm pretty sure my 1911, 45 automatic S&W will fit also, it don't just fit in the pocket, it has a elastic strap that it fits into to keep it steady, it has a pocket for everything, you don't need a man-bag when you own this jacket, and I just love how heavy it is, I am 6 feet and 2 inches tall and wt. about 220 LB, and it fits perfect it fits so stung, I just love it, and I know you will love it too, I don't ride motorcycles any more at 72 years old, but I just love that Biker Look Style,, Thank you Amazon for your great service,,,,,

Let me say that I am 6'3" with a 22" shoulder width, The Jacket size I ordered is an XXL. It fit perfect! The quality of the Jacket is more than I expected. Packaging of the jacket was above and beyond, buttons were covered with no scratch adhesive, and zipper tabs were wrapped in tissue paper. Very Professional.Nothing but nice things to say, as my headline states, it fit like a glove and it felt like putting on armor.Thanks to the Vender for such a great jacket, it's a little late in the year (summer time) but next winter it will be on me every time I leave the house.To all you shoppers out there, I highly recommend this jacket. I love this jacket and it does seem to be good quality. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm a solid 5xl, and the jacket o ordered is a 5xl it's a bit to snug. So I would say it runs a little small. Im still considering sending it back but I would say it a great jacket over all.

I wear a size large I measured just like the directions said and then I added upgraded to the 2X it was super tight on my arms and I could not even get it closed on my chest if you're going to order this thing go several sizes up

This jacket is amazing for the price point! I'm a 6' 4" male around 290 to 300 lbs. I like to have room in my jackets for layers to keep warm. I ordered the 4XL which fits perfectly. I can wear a base layer of long John's, t-shirt, hoodie with this leather jacket and be perfectly compatible. I love all of the pockets, great design. Absolutely love the concealed pocket, straps for 1 mag and 1 firearm.Out of the box the jacket will be noisy from the new leather but overtime and a few rides will break it in nicely.
