Its large, single-button operation is a huge plus for elderly users, ensuring ease of use. Additionally, the included AA batteries and durable design make this a reliable option for emergencies and outdoor activities alike. Energizer has really nailed the balance between simplicity and performance here.
One of the very brightest lights I’ve ever owned. Personally I find the choice of AAs very annoying in a light like this because it takes forever to recharge 6 AAs versus using just one or two #18650 Lithium Ion batteries which would have made a lot more sense for a light like this which deserves a remake using 18650s because of the added simplicity and runtime that battery type would lend to this cool light. It’s very unique “digital focus” feature is not what most people would picture in their head by reading the title “Digital Focus”. It is a strange and semi-useless digitally stepped incremental method of controlling how much relative light is split between infinity focus and a more locally focused light source. It works by having two different lights on board. One is focused closer and the other more distant so the digital focus just fades one of the two between fully on and fully off in steps to make it look like the light has been shifted from the foregone toward the background and vice-versa. So it’s idea of “focus” isn’t really what most people think of. when they think of focused light because it really does not move the focus field so much as lighting up the one end of it less or more in intensity compared to the other while the other focus field remains always at 100% light level ..This is noticeably brighter than my brightest tactical flashlights. It puts out a very Impressive daytime-like light-level on 6 fully charged AA batteries. Notably it also works on just 3 instead of 6 batteries if you are in a pinch (just fill one side or the other—doesn’t matter which side—but then they will last half as long as if you ran 6 mind you.. . Did I mention it would be much better if they reengineer this light to use #18650 common Lithium Ion rechargeable? Well I’m gonna mention it again, but the question is, is Energizer listening??
This is a bargain. Don't let others fool you, lumens is what counts. This flashlight is amazingly bright. Makes a great gift, they will be blown away by the brightness, and it's a good value.
This flashlight is very bright and, sturdy, and relatively heavy. It is really well constructed. The battery installation is counter intuitive in more than one way. Without instructions, it takes a bit of trial and error to figure out how to install them correctly. However, there is a tiny, and hard to spot, imprint on the back cover that illustrates battery installation.
I purchased this flashlight for my husband who complained that the flashlights we use at night when we take our dogs out, were not powerful enough for our property in a rural area - no street lights and very dark unless there's a full moon. I chose this brand as I wasn't familiar with many of the others that hunters seem to use. I had no clue what a "tac light" was until I researched it and was amazed at how pricey they can be. This Energizer version is excellent quality, has varying settings and is reasonably priced. The beam is so bright with great coverage that we can easily keep tabs on our pets as well as spot any unwanted critters roaming about at night.
This is a handy size, extremely bright and great price. It’s got a couple of lighting features such as emergency flash and a dimmer switch. It does operate off of batteries but there is another model available that is rechargeable. I bought this one primarily for usage in the event of power outages so it only seemed reasonable to go with a battery powered light. This is the third one I have purchased for different locations. I am highly satisfied and recommend.
The Energizer Vision HD Performance Metal Flashlight 1300 Lumen is by far the brightest flashlight I have ever owned. I can turn this flashlight on at night with no other lighting and it illuminates the entire room brighter than the actual lamp. I have also shined it into my yard in the dark and I could see everything clearly! The flashlight is made of metal so it's nice and sturdy and could be used as a weapon if needed. You can also change the flashlight into different modes by continuing to click the on/off button such as strobe mode, and you can also adjust the brightness of the flashlight as well. I would highly recommend this flashlight.
Great and bright, large and heavy (not for hiking, it is best for using at home)
Great product! Great light - so bright; quality extraordinary.
Great flashlight, love the brightness. Don't love that it says it has 7 different modes, but no instructions on how to change modes. I'm only able to get brightest (one click), less bright (quick double click), and strobe (three quick clicks). Kinda annoying to think it can do more but I don't know how to achieve doing more
The Energizer Vision HD 1300 Lumen Flashlight is a great flashlight in many different ways. I received this flashlight as a free sample for testing purposes. First thing I noticed was the batteries were included (big plus!) and that they were AA instead of the usual D. I like that because I buy AA batteries in bulk, so always have extra AAs around. Second thing was how easy the package was to open instead of the heavy plastic that is so hard to open with scissors. Then after trying out the flashlight, it really does everything well. It is heavy duty metal which I prefer for the durability (could even be a weapon if needed). The light is super bright and the different modes available are very useful depending on the conditions, and also the strobing effect is a great feature. All-around quality flashlight and packaging!
Very good build quality and very bright. Its also suitable as weapon if someone breaks into your house... so heavy and solid! But it is an experiment how to put the batteries in the right direction... its not wel documented and not logical.
