Quality belt

Quality belt and slim enough to fit khaki shorts belt loops and still look good with jeans. The measurements are very exact so remember to size for the extra material of your pants and not just your exact waist. I went up one size because I prefer to have my belts buckle more to the middle of the holes and not the first one or two.

First the good things: nice belt made in England, not cheap layers like the fake leather belts that come apart and allow a crease to break at the notch later. This is a nice sturdy belt with a nice finish that's not too glossy, and the back of the belt is a nice matte look but not suede like. I like the construction with no extra sewing and all leather. The bad, we cannot change the buckle and I saw that it was sewn so no big deal. The second is the sizing is off, but I got lucky and it just fits. I'm a mens jeans size 34 and bought the 32 to 36 and I once was a 36 and it will not fit so keep that in mind and I suspect that is why there may be a high incidence of returns. The belt is on its last notch (34 waist) and I intend on at least going down one more size. I would buy again and the value is excellent. I may get another but it will be a reward for going down another size. Looks great and expect the wear to be good as well. It's a good thickness and should wear a long time. It's not soft but not really stiff either it seems to be just the way I expect it for a men's leather belt. The buckle seems good and expect it to last and I will be back if it gives out since that can also be a weak spot on cheap belts. It is a pity they do not emboss/brand/label the back of the belt and I suggest they brand their mark on the back so I will remember them when I want another later.

I looked for a genuine leather belt that WASN’T made in China and I stumbled across this one. Made in Dorset, England.Quick delivery, excellent quality and a personalised label tag saying “Made by Alex”This must the first belt I’ve ever bought that’s fitted first time without piercing an extra hole or two in it! I put that down to the excellent and easy to understand sizing guide.I can’t recommend this product enough.

My old leather belt that I purchased for $15 in Italy on vacation twenty years ago was starting to give up the ghost. Sad but got my money's worth for sure. Have been looking high and low for something similar and finally found this belt which is the closest yet.Hand made, real leather with a subtle looking buckle in a simple basic black color. Actually hard to find these days.Pay attention to their fit recommendations as this is measured differently than most. I wish there was a bit more range in the sizes but I have been satisfied with the size I chose. As any new belt it will take some time to have it conform to my body however I don't see this as having any stretch or fit issues. Very wearable and completely functional for both jeans and dress pants as it is 1 1/4" wide. Even comes with a hand signed tag showing who made it. Craftsmanship is still alive.Very much a five star review

So far, great thickness and color. There is a tag that says Ashford Ridge, made in England. On the back it says “meet your maker” signed in pen by Alex (pretty nice touch!). So far love the belt and it fits women's Levi’s belt loops perfectly. My only gripe so far is that the photos show a silver buckle in the photos (for black belt) and the buckle is very much black metal in person (a manly metal look). And the buckle is sewn on so you can’t change it out. I still like the overall look and quality of the belt.

Fantastic product, just as described!

This is a nice and simple leather belt, but it's cut from 1/8" thick chrome-tanned garment leather rather than strap leather, so "as a belt", this has an unusual amount of stretch. This will come into play over time and with long use. It will deform in the back under the central belt loop and narrow slightly, and the holes you use most in the buckle will stretch.I know this from years of experience with belts made of similar leather, versus belts made from veg-tanned strap or tooling leather, which can also deform but much less rapidly.That being said, it's a perfectly nice belt when all you want is a plain leather belt with no fancy adornment.Looks great with jeans or khakis or dungarees.Fair price for a simple leather belt. It was basically just want I wanted.

I bought a size smaller than I probably should have after reading the reviews. I am 34 waist and barely fit in the last hole of the medium belt. I am hoping the belt stretches as some reviewers said… I recommend buying the suggested size as per the manufacturer, not reviewers.
