I eat a lot of the instant lunch noodle cup things and other noodles and I try to put one of these in each cup or bowl of noodles that I eat if I have them and haven't eaten them all to just kind of spice it up and make them better and more interesting just like sometimes I might put a couple jalapeno rings in there as well and even maybe once in awhile a slice of cheese and mix it all up after it sits for a few minutes after I put the hot water in so that it Cooks and these taste great and really add to your noodles even though you can eat them straight or whatever way you want but I highly recommend these as well as the ones that aren't jalapeno flavor I get them as well and they're really good too and I haven't tried the Teriyaki ones yet even though I would like to but they're a little bit more expensive so maybe in the future I might order those but I haven't ordered them yet and I thought the original ones of these were basically perfect tasting but then once I tried these I couldn't believe it because these even tasted a little bit better just because they have a little bit of spice in them so these are awesome but I've always been a fan of beef jerky or whatever so I'm a little bit biased but if you're a fan of beef jerky order you some of these!
First thing I thought when I ate one was that it was pleasant. Tastes similar to slim Jim but with more of a fresh, “less-processed” feel.. but the salt. It’s VERY salty. Like, make you thirsty instantly salty.I do eat a lot of salty stuff with no problem with that familiar taste, but having one of these, it was salty enough that I almost made a face.I think maybe tossing one of these with eggs isn’t a bad idea or having with a fruit or veggie is good but I wanted this as something to snack on without anything else, so just a heads up if that’s what you’re looking for too.Besides the saltiness, the flavor is good, nice smoky flavor. I’ll still be eating this, just going to drink more water with it .
We love these as a road trip snack. They are great as far as taste and for the price you can’t beat them. Old trapper just makes really good jerky and meat snacks keep up the great work Old trapper.
This is a really good jerky stick. It was a little saltier than I expected during the first bite but after that, I started really liking the flavors. I also loved that it wasn’t oily like most jerky sticks are. I’m planning to try the teriyaki flavor next.
Too good! I love these and the only problem is that when I open them, I eat them until they are all gone and I don't have any saved for later... No joke, these are the best!
Best flavor is the jalapeño and I don't like jalapeños. It just bumps up the flavor a notch. There's no heat, a child could eat these, mine does. The right about of salt and they are easy on the teeth!
These taste great! Lots of flavor and not overly greasy like some meat sticks. Casing isn't too tough either so you can actually chew it.I bought these for a very long road trip along with some dried fruit and nuts so I could just grab stuff while driving and not make a huge mess but had to try a few beforehand. Great price for how much you get as well, I'm used to these type of snacks being quite pricey for small amounts.

After years of hard work and sacrifice, Old Trapper had grown to become a favorite among local jerky lovers and connoisseurs nationwide, but the best was still yet to come.
