Very nice pen, easy to use, great color and these things last forever. I have an engraving business and these also engrave well.

I have tried many, many pens of various types and manufacturers over the years, and this is the one I keep coming back to.I've been a fan of EnerGel pens since I first tried them. The 0.5 especially always held a dear place in my heart for smooth, solid lines, and comfort. I was disappointed that there wasn't a higher quality though. Then I found these. They have the same beautiful ink that the others have, in a sharp looking form factor.The metal barrels look sharp, and their color choices are vibrant and fun. (The silver is still my favorite, though.) One of the best things about them, though, is the ability to put the cartridges in from the disposable versions so you don't have to keep buying more Alloy ones. This is especially nice since these only seem to come in 0.7 size, and I prefer the finer point. Still, even at 0.7 these write remarkably well.I believe the mechanism in them is the same as the plastic ones, though, so it does feel a little cheap when you click them. Still, I've never had one fail on me. The button looks like it's probably just chromed plastic, so that'll probably wear out before anything else does. (Your mileage may vary, and I could be wrong on this point, but it doesn't look as high quality as the rest of the material.)Overall, a GREAT pen and could easily become your "sensible default". For me, I have stopped looking at others and just keep coming back to these. They're that good.

A pop of purple to brighten up my journal pages.Love this pen. Nice metal weight-not too heavy. Took a while to receive it (3 weeks) but I will say this pen is a keeper! Nice quality, no smudges or globs and priced under $7.00. Ok. So I have tried many, many pens over the years. I have an obsession with pens, pencils, markers and office/art supplies in general.Previously, my all time favorite pens were the Flair's, the felt tip ones. I had used some gel rollers in the past but did not like them for various reasons, either they were not smooth to write with, the ink would smudge easily or whatever else.These pens, the EnerGEL series, this includes these alloys, the pearls and the RTX's, are all absolutely the best pens I have ever used.I picked up a full set (every color) of the RTX's, and immediately fell in love with them. Amazing ink, smooth as silk and actually makes my handwriting look WAY better. They are a pleasure to hold and use. The colors are vibrant and really pop off the pages.Next, I picked up some of the Pearls , these are very nice looking pens with the white grip and details. Awesome.Finally, I went ahead and ordered a silver alloy one as well as a box of ink refills. This is easily my all time favorite pen. I got my Wife a purple one and she also, is in love with it. I do not let my co-workers touch this pen as I don't want it getting stolen. When I get up from my desk for a quick break or even more a moment, it comes with me.These are easily the nicest pens in existence. I plan on getting a full set of alloys be over the next few months as well as boxes of ink refills. The value is outstanding.Just order one already!

This pen is better then expected. My spouse and I appreciate decent quality pens. When I saw this pen, its appearance drew me in, it looks like a more expensive pen. I made the purchased for two of them, I also purchased a small metal presentation case and gifted one to my better half. It's inexpensive so who cares if she looses it or if it stops working. It's slightly bigger and more substantial then any of my other pens, I didn't see that coming, but for its size and appearance it's not that much heavier. I compared it to other pens that i use frequently and it's pretty robust looking, but we still like it. We haven't had any issues with the cap as others have pointed out and it writes pretty smooth, no issues there, were pleased with it, as of right now it's my go to pen. I haven't dropped it yet, so i dont know how much abuse it can actually take that's why i only gave it four stars, it feels comfortable in the hand and I've gotten compliments on it. Go figure, I have a brass TI pen that's overlooked but this inexpensive pen gets admired by most. I made this purchase with my own funds. It was not provided by the vender nor did I receive a discount on it in favor of my review. If anything changes i will provide an update. This is my honest review, hope it helps.

I've been using a plastic energel pen for a few years and didn't even know a metal version existed! Thought I'd treat myself and upgrade. Item arrived in good time and we'll packaged. It's a nice solid pen (as is its plastic counterpart) and writes like a dream...10/10

This pen is great and writes really well. I wanted fancy pen to use at work to feel cool. I first ordered a pen that was $13.82 and thought that since it was almost $14 for a singular pen, it might be good. Wrong. Price does not reflect quality. This pen that was $6.19 is miles better. I even bought 2 more so I could have one at home and give one to my mom.It not only writes well, but it looks super sleek as well. It's not plastic, the sheen is nice, the color is on point, not too bright and childlike but still fun and stands out.I did not purchase the one with colored ink so I can't speak on the quality or color of that one because I think spending $18 on 3 pens is enough for now.Adding pictures of what the pen looks like on 4 different colored paper in case anyone is looking for that
