  • Vaulted Ceiling Plate: The APMEB is designed so it may be used with vaulted ceilings
  • Safety Cable: Attach the projector to the mount with the metal tether for added security during installation. The cable may also be used as an extra element of security once the projector is mounted

The APMEB Universal Projector Mount is one of a kind. We designed this mount to be 100% universal and compatible with all Projectors on the market. The Four Connection Components can be extended or retracted to attach to the mounting holes on the projector. Additionally, some Projectors have only three mounting holes but with this mount, using all four connection components is not necessary. The mounting plate also features a 0-90 degree turn for recessed installation. Our APMEB supports up to 65LBS and constructed of 100% High-Grade Steel.

No complaints on my end! Worked without any modifications for my Epson 8700. We mounted it in the hole where our ceiling fan was. Comes with a high quality cord and everything needed. Highly recommend!

Didn't work for me. My projector had three off center mounting holes. I was able to attach the mount, but the holes weren't balanced over the center of mass. So, the projector wanted to naturally tilt. I tried to tighten the mount as much as I could, but there was still play in 2 different parts of the mount. I got the projector all aligned, but when I came back the next day, the picture had moved up several inches. I bought a different brand and no such problem. The new one is rock solid.UPDATE: I was contacted by Cheetah Mount and they were very helpful. Great customer service. The mount still didn't work well for my Epson 2040 projector, but I appreciate the good customer service.

Installed this as a replacement to the previous mount which i purchased. The previous one was lacking on few things.Lets start with everything good about this mount.1) The screws which this comes with are really well built, it takes an effort to drive them into wood.2) The material is really very well built, was a bit unsure as this was a bit heavy. I had to re-do my wood associated to the joist to make sure it can take the wait of both mount and the projector.3) The ball joint is a bit funky, make sure you fully push it into the joint before you screw it in. This can cause instability if not fully pushed in.4) I have BenQ TH585, I had to use the smaller hands provided instead of the bigger ones, it works very well. Now for the issues facedA) There are 3 metal rods, there is a small gap between the 2nd rod and the final one which we mount the projector to.This causes some movement every time i touch it, its not causing any issues, but something which is a damper on this.B) The specific adjustment is a bit difficult in this, need to play around before you are happy with the result.Beyond that love this, very sturdy and easy to install

After using a Cheetah TV mount and knowing the quality and ease of use i had with that mount, i decided to try this projector mount. This is a very well made mount and it gives us alot of options if we need to move it and articulate the projector and the versatility it offers with the adjustable extention is great too. A mount of this quality i would expect to cost much more than what we paid. We are very happy with this product and it works as advertised and exceeded our expectations and for that i gave it 5 stars!

Had some issues installing this and am not super pleased with the quality.First, wall anchors provided failed, so had to fish some out of my stash. Next, the projector ball mount casing had screw burrs blocking it from seating correctly, so had to file those down with dremel. Still requires some serious force to get it to seat, which is unnerving when pushing against your ceiling. Also mounting bracket didn't fit my projector (optoma), despite the versatility (bracket too big). All this made for a longer than desired install process. Now that it's up, all the components are slightly loose fitting, despite how much I tighten them. Very difficult to get everything level because it doesn't hold in place after setting. You can feel every connection has a slight wobble to it which is super frustrating if you're trying get a level projection. Also, it's not white, it's cream. Seems silly as I've never seen a cream ceiling. So of course clashes.

Easy to install and durrable. We are using it with a BenQ short throw. There's lots of different parts to get this to fit perfectly. My husband does advise buyers to not use the supplied anchors but to go to your local hardware store and get toggle bolts. This is not to say the supplied anchors are not good enough but lets face it, if you shell out the money to build your dream home theater system you want want to know for sure your expensive equipment stays put. Great mount all the way around. Lots of parts and options to get the perfect fit.

Very easy to use and install. I have a Epson 1060. Just have to get creative with the bracket pieces given, but overall for price, very good quality! Even came with a 15' HDMI chord!

Like a lot of other people, my mount had burrs inside the cup for the ball. It was a very simple job to remove those with a dremel (or even just a file). After that I had no issues with putting this together. The paint is thick and uneven, but nobody is going to be looking at the mount so I don't care.I would recommend checking all the screws. I had a few in critical places that were not tight. I took mine apart so I could cut down the extension tubes to get the length I wanted and it went back together without a problem.I mounted my projector so the ball is roughly over the center of gravity. I think this helps with keeping it stable and making adjustments. I also didn't have to make a lot of adjustments with the mount because my projector has lens shift.Overall, I'd say this is a great mount, if you're a little bit handy. It's cheap and solid. I took off 1 star because of the burrs in the cup, but for the price I was willing to do that work myself.
