08-03-2026A lot of reviewers have complained about this bag and the odor that it has when it arrives. Mine was no different. So as mentioned you do have to let this bag air out for a week or more, preferably where it won't stink up the house. Once the odor dissipates you have yourself a really classy looking and sturdy travel bag. It's got room for a week long trip if you're not crazy with plenty of pockets for all the small stuff you bring along also. I love the look of this bag, it has a very classic look and feel. The interior is spacious. I didn't have any of the issues with the buckles or hardware other reviewers mentioned. All of my hardware was in great shape. Over all I love this bag but I wouldn't recommend using it the day you get it. Let it air out and it will serve you well.

08-03-2026Nice bag for the price, everyone thinks its worth $200-300. The leather doesnt seem like the highest end stuff, but it does seem durable for sure. Id recommend using saddle soap and leather conditioner like leather honey or obenaufs lp on it right after you take it out of the package. Im not sure how long the zippers will last, I think they are plastic, but other than that, its a good bag for the price, I paid around $85-90.

08-03-2026My wife bought me this beautiful leather bag instead of a thick plastic dry bag duffle bag which was more money and I couldn't justify it. So she purchased me this beautiful leather bag and just like the headline it is absolutely stunning. I want to first comment that like everything I buy on Amazon I check out the reviews but in this case she had ordered me the bag and I kind of did a follow-up on the reviews and the comments were extremely raw and angry as ripped handles, crappy zippers with goo on it, and most of all the descriptions of how the bag smelled like dead animals, Play-Doh, burnt steel and such really made me wonder what the wife had actually purchased? What was even more curious was the descriptions were horrific but yet customers gave the bag four stars some only gave two stars their anger was most definitely fresh.I received my bag and immediately was impressed at the weight and thickness and quality of leather the wife had just bought me. The bag was professionally and securely wrapped in plastic and when I popped that baby open, the bag was huge, and immediately I stuck my nose in it and it didn't smell like anything but expensive leather. Like the kind of leather you smell when you buy a wallet. That fresh leather smell which to me signals expensive and quality. This is truly a real leather bag. There are two outside pouches and two zipper compartments on each end. The handles and the metal supports holding the handles look great as I tugged on them. The main body of the bag is outstanding and of quality.I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a sturdy and durable leather bag. I use mine for work trucking all of my gear and stuff along with my tablet cords and phone gear along with my favorite book and an extra pair of shoes. Plenty of room here. Now that I have the leather bag I am truly also impressed with the price as this bag which I would assume would be several hundreds of dollars in my local mall or leather jacket store, the wife got this for a little over 70 bucks.Now I haven't filled it up and I haven't dragged it around me for a month or so but I can certainly tell that the quality of workmanship is better than most. I would recommend this as an excellent gift for any wife to purchase for her husband like mine did for me. It's what keeps love alive

08-03-2026This looks like it cost so much more than it actually did!A really nice vintage look to it, the leather is thick and stitching is very good,the size is perfect and it looks like it will last for years.Yes, there is quite a strong leather smell, but I like it,and I'm sure it will fade with time.Highly recommended.

08-03-2026I'm admittedly a big fan of quality handcrafted leather products, so judging by some of the more negative reviews here (not to mention the low price), I was a little apprehensive upon purchasing it. However, having received it a couple of days ago and already traveled with it, I felt compelled to counter some of those other reviews with my own.First of all, the bag does not smell bad. It's the dried flesh of animal, and anyone who's ever purchased leather - regardless of the animal - should already know that. That said, there is a detectable aroma (which I found pleasant) upon removing the duffel from the plastic bag it comes sealed in, but that fades pretty quickly. It's only been two days, and already my bag is beginning to smell more like me than the creature it was made from.Secondly, it's HUGE. I honestly didn't expect so much space, so I was more than happy to ditch my old wheeled carry-on in favor of my new duffel. No, it doesn't have wheels, but it looks absolutely magnificent, and if it reeks of anything, it reeks of character, and does so beautifully.Ignore the negative reviews. This duffel is a winner at a great price.

08-03-2026Just received this about 20 minutes ago and my first impression was wow they really packaged this thing good . Second was wow this thing is beautiful and bigger than I expected. Someone said odor was strong didn’t get that but small leather odor but it’s leather so idc. Anyway this bag is amazing and hope it holds up ! I’m getting ready to order another as I was not expecting this at all - was looking for a small carry one to take my clothes with me back and forth to work , weekends and such . What I did get was the perfect bag! Let me go I’m ordering another one
