Great material type of wood and very strong. Worth the purchase.
An excellent steady wooden bar with an anti-slip coverage that one can use in many calisthenics exercises. You can use it on any surface.Though not cheap, the product delivers great value and, in my opinion, is worth every penny.
Solid construction. It's long so you don't have to shift the whole thing around to get to certain positions just slide your hands up or down. I'm 220 and it holds my weight when I do pushup planks
It might seem to be a bit overpriced, it’s still good quality tho.25cm one might be too small for bigger hands
Great looking parallette bars to work on calisthenics. I'm new to this and looking forward to it.This comes with wrist guards, one for each hand, so make sure you know which one goes where so you can put it on properly. (Hopefully seller can mark L and R for future products. The bar itself feel very sturdy and has pads on the bottom that is very grippy.I currently can't do a planche yet, but I placed it on the floor and put my full weight on it (I weigh 180lb) and it held my weight.
Feel study, light weight and good length. So far, works as needed.
After looking at the product dimensions of both the smaller and larger parallel bars, I felt the smaller ones would be more suited to my needs. I got these to help increase my range of motion during handstand pushups. Going with my hands straight against the floor, my reps started getting above 20 and I wanted to lower that number by making the exercise harder in order to focus on strength. I've tried to use other pushup bars that were a little taller and I was not quite ready for, by these are perfect! They are keeping my reps below 10 for the moment and will keep them below 20 for a good while I imagine.I like that they are made out of some kind of hardwood and are very strong. I'll probably wipe on a layer of linseed oil just to keep them protected as I live in a humid area. I also like that they are designed to be truly parallel to the ground and are not tilted like some pushup bars. I think for my purposes and for more gymnastic purposes, the flat/parallel design is more practical. For the handstand pushups, I do use a fairly wide hand positioning to take emphasis off of the triceps and put it onto the shoulders and traps. For this reason I often experience hand slippage when going on the bare floor and even these bars had a tendency to want to roll. I believe what happened is that I relied too much on the structure of the bars when I should have been maintaining a strong grip as one would with an olympic bar overhead. Also the non-slip pads were sliding on the bottom where they were glued. I will probably end up cutting larger pieces of high-density rubber, gluing it on the bottom and screwing it up the sides so it will never come off. I couldn't deduct a star for this as they are still an awesome product. I think an improved design for this could be hot-dipping the bottom half of the wooden feet in a liquid rubber-type material.Overall I'm stoked about these! I'll modify them a little and expect to get many many years of use out of them. I much prefer this to the plastic ones. Thanks for making a good product!
I wish I could give it a 10 out of 5 because they have really become my best friend at home, especially during the quarantine. They are slightly bigger than I expected and the quality is just amazing. I have been training with these bad boys for a week and I really cannot find anything negative about them. The bar thickness is on point; just like that of any barbell you can find at the gym. You can have a really good grip on them and a nice stretch when you do push-ups etc. You can also do L sits and handstands with them without any problem. They are also aesthetically pleasing too. I really recommend it.
Amazing
⭐ 1/5 - Misleading Product, Wrong Size, and Low-Quality WoodI purchased these parallettes expecting 50 cm (19.7 inches) in length they mentioned everywhere, as listed in the product description. However, what I received was only 28 cm—a massive 22 cm difference! This is clearly false advertising, not just a minor measurement error.Issues I Found:1️⃣ Wrong Size – The seller falsely claims a 50 cm length, but the actual product is much shorter (28 cm). This is deceptive and unacceptable.2️⃣ Low-Quality Wood – The product description says beechwood, but the material feels like soft pine. It dents very easily, even with light pressure from a fingernail.3️⃣ Slippery and Unsafe – Instead of proper non-slip rubber pads, they stuck cheap sponge tape to the base, making the parallettes unstable and unsafe during workouts.4️⃣ Overpriced for the Quality – Given the wrong size, weak wood, and bad anti-slip design, this product is extremely overpriced.Final Verdict:❌ DO NOT BUY unless you want to waste money on misleading, poor-quality parallettes.✅ Returning mine for a full refund. Amazon should take action against sellers like this who provide false product descriptions. If you need real, high-quality parallettes, look elsewhere!
They are expensive, so I had to wait for a special occasion to get them for myself. So even though talking myself into the purchase took some time, now I would not give them back. I have been working on the planche and handstand push ups, and they have been a great tool for this. The grip has a solid feel to it, and you get a good feeling of your connection to the ground while being in the air.
Nice solid pair of parallettes, the bonus wrist wraps were nice.
