This bag is amazing in every way. love the look and the care that was taken to build it. Yes, it does smell a little at first, but it is animal skin. (1st world problems, Karens?) I set it out for 4 days in the back on my closet and it went away. You can only smell it now if you put it under your nose. Im going to order another for my son who admired it and just got his 1st real job which involves some business travel.

Got this bag and it appears to be made well. It does smell (expected being leather) after letting it air for 24 hours its already better. The zipper slide fobs are metal and were wrapped in a clear tape that had turned into a sticky mess. Took a while to get the tape off with a knife, then cleaned with alcohol. So ended up fine. The zipper teeth appear to be not metal, maybe that's a good thing, I don't know. Two end compartments are of good size, and the small front compartment appears big enough for phone and pens or whatever. Double strap that hooks in all four corners seems very durable, and the connector that hooks to the bag rings swivel which is a good quality.

Just opened the new bag, what a value. I love leather carry-ons, satchels and how they age, I think this bag will be my long term bag and I can't wait to see it age. The leather is sturdy, lighter on the banding, side of pocket that rolls around front and welts on the bag. Manipulating the bag, the fresh leather it has the sound of a heavy leather saddle. I thought some of the earlier reviews mention metal buttons on the bottom, this bag does not have them, only leather which will keep me from scratching up the car or floors with metal buttons. I've looked at very expensive leather bags, 5 & 10X this price, of course this bag's leather is less pliable but I can't believe the great value of this bag. I look forward to toting this bag through airports, pulling it out of the sports car or bed of a pick up.

I am sooo happy that I purchased this bag from KK! I looked at every bag and maker and am very happy with my purchase. I have all my camera equipment in it and the gear is balanced along the length. The strap is great for this kind of weight, as I am a small person but have no problem carrying my equipment as it is all balanced in the bag. It is well made and sturdy, and the odour which people complained about dissipated in a day. It looks really good and I like the retro look. I would give this ten stars if such a rating was possible.

Loved the look and the price of this leather bag. I had no idea that like camel, goat leather has a distinctive and unpleasant smell. Really bad smell. The thought of my son wearing clothes that would have smelled of this bag made me think of sending it back. I had a 4 days to try and get rid of the smell before I gave it to my son for Christmas. I sprayed the inside with Febreze several time and placed the open bag in front of a strong fan. My entire downstairs reeked. But eventually the smell dissipated. I moved the bag several times a day to let the fan hit every part of the bag and was heavy handed with the Febreze. As he opened the gift I casually mentioned the "different" smell and he thought it was fine. He used the bag to travel the next day and thought it was great.

I was totally blown away by this enormous leather travelling bag. I was prepared to spend double the price and spotted this one the at the last minute. So glad, it's exactly what I was looking for, strong, good quality, large enough for clothes, shoes, makeup .. I don't travel lightly and need good storage, this met every single need. Price, delivery speed and packaging all 100%. Love the well designed double hooks for the long strap. The huge pockets either end take a pair of shoes, boots or a very large full bathbag. There's only one thing I should point out, this bag has weight, if your looking for a light thin holdall, this is not for you!

Really nice and spacious! It does have a smell but I think it will fade now that it is unpackaged. Gave as a HS grad gift to my son.

I love the looks of this bag. I wanted something sharp, distinguished looking that has the space I need for if we decide to take off for the weekend and I don't want to load an entire suit case. There's plenty of cargo space. My shoes do fit in the end zipper area, though a little tight. I do find the bag marks easily - not a big deal because I want it to look worn. I did get some of its oils rubbed off on my white shirt - I'm not sure if that was from the previous owner (I bought it Amazon refurbished or whatever that program is called). I think it will be fine for traveling. My one complaint is that it's a bit large for over the shoulder - though they've given two leather shoulder straps, it's a bit bulky. I am happy with it overall and would recommend.

Came exactly as pictured. Its big, very beautiful, and looks better than the pictures. The inside is lined in what looks and feels like a green burlap, which is not only gorgeous but it feels great. It seems to be of high quality and I can't wait to use it for my trip.The only con I have about it is that the oil used to protect the zipper pull tabs is extremely sticky, so much so that I'll have to take a damp cloth to the tabs to actually use it, and there was also a lot of oil on the clips for the strap that smeared all over my hands... I understand why the oil is there though and in my opinion it doesn't warrant a negative rating.Again, it all seems to be of high quality. Its genuinely gorgeous. Definitely worth the money!

I've had the bag for a few days now and tried it out on a short 5-day trip.It is big and roomy. I was able to fit everything I needed with space for more into this bag. It has 4 compartments (the main one in the middle, two small ones on either side, and one tiny one on the front face); the front one, however, that is closed with a belt style clasp (different from the others which are zippered) isn't usable for much other than perhaps some paperwork, or maybe some small charging cables.The craftsmanship and quality of leather are great. I paid much more for a smaller bag about a year ago but did not expect the quality to rival that of the smaller bag. The leather is not flimsy, and all of the metal components feel and work great. The one downside I experienced that I would like to get across to the manufacturers, is that I am unsure why the zipper tabs (the metal part that you grab and move to operate the zipper) were wrapped in tape. I worked for probably an hour, with little to show for it, wiping and rubbing the sippers with different types of cloth to try and get the glue from the tape off, nothing worked. I was wary of using any chemical products for fear that I might get some on the leather. I don't understand why the tape was wrapped around them either. The zippers have no sharp edges, I don't see how they might have scratched the leather. Also, nobody is going to leave the cheap tape on the zippers. Just take it off.Portability is great as long as you're not carrying much else. For me personally, I was carrying a lot (an elongated backpack, a messenger bag over one shoulder, and this large leather bag over the other), leaving me a little unbalanced; but if someone were carrying just this bag, I don't see any able-bodied person having much of a problem. When filled up though, it can weigh a lot, so know what you're getting into.I think this bag has high value, and I can't imagine ever getting rid of it.
