The seam remains the same and it slightly lowered in a V-shape to avoid bellybutton area. The colours are very nice and the panties provide ample coverage. Sizing runs a wee bit larger than earlier editions; size 14 = XL . The price is a bit high but having owned these for a few years I can confirm that the quality is stellar, no tears, no seams coming undone. The only wear & tear is in the elastic which is normal.
