I took a chance as I was very doubtful this would work well, but it’s amazing! I never thought I could do this myself. It’s very sharp and the blades are large, so you have to go very slow and be very careful, but I’ve used it dry multiple times and have had great results with no cuts!If this is something that you struggle with I highly recommend taking a chance. It is very liberating to be able to do this myself and not have to rely on anyone. Also, I would recommend the electric shaver from Panasonic for other trimming. It’s very high quality and much better than the Phillips product. I use that on the lowest setting and I’m very happy with the clean, natural results. Combined with the product, I’m now fully sorted.
This is genuinely a good product. For this price you can’t get a product with this much efficiency and steel based design. The plastic and the rubber grip over it both are really good and it’s length is really handy. The blades are very effective as well, does the job in 5 mins.
Normally i would make a plus/ minus list but there are honestly very few.I was on the fence about getting this but its really a great handy device.I was however very careful because it is really really sharp. They took measure to not cut regular skin but with moles and similar skin tags etc. it will shave it off if you are not careful. So for a few plus/ minus points id say:+ reasonably cheap+ comes with a spare knife set+ replacement knives not too expensive+ very very sharp+ handy foldout extension for the hard to reach spots+ comes with cleaning brushA few negatives are:- sometimes too sharp
I have tried a bunch of back shavers and the Bakblade is, no pun intended, a cut above the rest. The blades are perfect width, very quick and easy to use, the shave is very very close and cleanup is relatively easy. The blades are plenty sharp for the job but not too sharp to cause any problems.I was able to do my whole back, arms, and chest in about 10 minutes including cleanup, and I am a pretty hairy dude.It also feels nice if you have dry skin.If you are someone who likes a cleanly shaved back or chest, this one is worth the money.

in few days we get severe itching as hair starts to grow.
The razor has been very effective and easy to use. Unfortnately it has quit hold the blades where they just fall out. I will reorder it one more time to see if this is an outlier issue.
It works better than I thought it would. Just did a test run dry. It is awkward cause it’s hard to reach and navigate your back, but it seems a good option. I’ve duct taped a wooden back scratcher to a small electric trimmer so……haha. It’s also a closer shave than I thought it would’ve been. I really wish the handle would detach from itself where it pivots halfway, to be shorter and more agile where you don’t have to reach as far. Might try to mine or figure something out. The original model had bad reviews, and the 3.0 has 3 blades, so figured the 2.0 was a happy medium.
Its expensive but man it works so well. There is a learning curve but once you kind of get that down you easily do it really quickly. The first time (depending how hairy you are lol) might be longer than the next other times. It is very nice, my back feels cooler as well in the warm heat. Again, it is very expensive. No way it should cost as much as it does, but it is worth it.
I had been using a battery powered back shaver for years and that device was showing its age. While I liked that shaver I was interested in trying something more budget friendly. I gave this shaver a try and I am glad I did. I find it easy to use and it does a great job. I will note that I started using this shaver after having used the battery powered model to shorten my back hair so I am not sure how it would be on an initial cut for a really hairy back. Now I use it every couple of weeks to keep my back hair under control. It is easy and does the job quickly.
This greatly exceeded my expectations. This product really works! I’ve used similar products in the past but this is the best purchase I e made in a while. No hair, no cuts (except opening the damn box but I’ll take the hit for that). If you’re dealing with back hair and hate to have someone do it for you….this is it. It hits all the angles and tough spots. 5/5
I very rarely write reviews. This back razor does the job extremely well. I have been shaving my back for years now and have tried a few different products. I was using the electric kind (back scape) and I was constantly breaking the handle and replacing the blades. It also would not get a very close shave, so I would have to do it a few times a week (yes, I'm a gorilla, the only place that I don't grow hair is my fingernails). There was a bit of a learning curve. Tried to do it in the shower without looking at what I was doing and got a couple minor cuts. Transitioned to doing it dry in front of the mirror and that works really well. My back is used to getting shaved, so I dont get razor burn very easily. My method now is to run the hot water, rinse the blade, do a couple passes, rinse again and repeat. The little bit of water helps with it gliding on the skin. The results are fantastic. Close shave, dont have to shave as often, much better than electric. As long as Im paying attention, I dont get any cuts or irritation. The quality is great, I had a similar product in the past, cut myself all the time, but this one is better. Blades are cheaper than the electric kind. All in all, I highly recommend this product. If you are on the fence, just do it.
Hey so this actually cuts. Its so sharp that you can dry shave or while in the shower as its not mechanical or battery operated. It feels really nice in your hands, Lightweight and contours to your body well allowing you to hit those hard to reach spots. Just got it so idk how long it will last but I am growing to love this as it works AMAZINGLY WELL!Seriously if your like me and struggle to and hate cutting the body hair down get this becuase in the shower it works or dry shave it works!!
