08-03-2026I’ve tried using a few different brands of these types of shirts for a while, and this is up there as one of my favorites. Has a nice, loose, comfortable fit, feels softer than some of those other brand shirts while still feeling heavy and durable, and you can honestly wear these just about anywhere for any occasion.

08-03-2026i wanted extra girth. this thing fits like a moo-moo or maternity clothing! great thisck quality; however it was advertised as the shaka xtg not xlt. Only the active comes in xtg as a size 7. i wont order again. I just kept it anyway because of the good quality and a 7x of any kind is hard to find!

08-03-2026It is heavy. The collar is the heaviest collar I've seen. I take a size L, with a 16 1/2 neck, ave size, and it felt a bit tight, but seemed to loosen up. Stretched, curling, wavy collars on an older shirt make you look like a slob. Failing collars are the first thing to fail on my old t shirts, even with boiling the collar to tighten them.I have udated this review to say I have just gotten my 3rd shirt. The collar on the first shirt several months ago still looks good. Will replace my old remaining ones with this brand as they wear out. Very happy with purchase. Will save money in the long run with these longer lasting shirts.One minor thing. The tags are huge. Tags are annoying, although these tags are soft. WOuld prefer having washing and garment content ink stamped inside. Ink stamp the brand name too. Then they would be perfect.

08-03-2026Feels like cardboard before and after washing it exactly and accordingly to the description that is imprinted on the tag.The material is definitely thick and heavyweight according to what is described at all the reviews, collar fits snug the sleeves are a bit short and tight, needs a few more inches to improve that.I own a similar T-shirt that was purchased from a footlocker store near Tampa, FL and I have had it for 13 years, a picture is posted on it here on amazon (beware it's not shaka wear) from day one the material was smooth and comfortable and it's Made in Honduras as well I have machine washed it more than 650 times over the years but it isn't as thick and heavyweight as shaka wear.The chest and waist should come loose they need about 2 to 2.5" more of material.Real OG T-shirt here, I have definitely enjoyed the experience of this purchase and I am going to buy more.Follow the instructions and it won't shrink after the machine wash, use environmentally friendly washing detergent with no fragment and that are made for white T-shirts.I used some ultra white stain remover but be careful with how much you use, I used 1/3 of the cup (powder) that came within that stain remover package (Not Recommended by shaka wear).It came out fine but be careful.Remember, I am a big guy with a endomorph body type, with extra wide shoulders, 6' 5.5" tall and weigh 276 lbs.All I needed was the 4XL, I used the older T-shirt described here and used the size chart, it came identical and I instantly knew it fit.I gave 4 out 5 stars for a reason, I really wanted to give 5/5 but the T-Shirt from Shaka Wear needs to improve their measurements so that it fits just...perfect.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------***Update July 3 2020***As you can see on my new pictures that has recently been uploaded, one of the t-shirt's arrived with a hole through it and the reason for the delay, I was busy purchasing other items on amazon and due to Covid-19.The same t-shirt has a defect from Shaka Wear and I haven't been able to use it, quite disappointed, the collar is bent, it seems that the item was sold used ??I will leave a review here and on Fits Cloth.
