Travelon Anti-Theft Classic North/South Crossbody Bag

I bought 5 pieces of these bags and gave them to my nieces and friends. I kept one for myself. I love the color of this bags plus it has too many compartments that can fir all your stuff in that nice and beautiful purse. One thing also, this RFID Travelon purse is very practical to use when traveling as it keeps your credit cards, ID'S, and phone safer. My friends and nieces love this purse and I got so many compliments on this purse! Also, it is lightweight and can keep your valuables safer as they have zipper that pickpockets can't open them.

I was gifted the wallet and wanted the bag to match. This well made, lightweight, multiple interior/exterior compartment bag is very versatile. It features a comfortable fitting shoulder strap that allows you to convert it to what works best for you. It has a roomy interior and several exterior compartments that make it a stylish and functional everyday work purse — and essential travel bag. The safety features are a BIG plus. I love the exterior zippered closures. The price was great, I bought the Navy it was about $22 dollars less than its sister colors. I plan to purchase at least one more to use just for traveling.

I am a traveler. I bought this purse with travel in mind. I will be traveling with it in the future, so I decided it was best to get accustomed to using it now on a daily basis. I like everything about this purse. (A woman had to have designed it!) It does take some getting used to, however. I like having the many pockets that it offers. I am working on being consistent as to what I put in each pocket. Although I am not concerned with pickpockets where I live, I continue to attach the security clips so that I will be accustomed to using them when I do travel. It was awkward at first. What I don't want is to call attention to myself when traveling by searching pockets or taking a lot of time fiddling with the hooks. I had another brand of bag that has 2 of the side pockets for a bottle or umbrella, but they stick out when not in use. I like the ability to zip that pocket so it lies flat. (Plus this brand has the slash-proof materials which the other did not). The ability to unhook the shoulder strap to wrap/re-hook it around the leg of a table or back of a chair while sitting in a restaurant is a great feature. (It also allows me to carry the purse under my coat and remove the purse without taking off my coat). The front zippered pocket with slots for credit cards has RFID, and I keep that side against my body. (There is no suitable pocket for cash in that RFID pocket. There is room for a wallet). In the main compartment, there are two open vertical pockets for convenient items, like pens, phone, or glasses. I haven't needed the little attached light yet, but that will be handy on the plane. I usually attach my keys to it now. There is also a zippered pocket which is perfect for a passport and important documents. Additionally, the main compartment has enough room for a tablet, a book, as well as the usual items. I have put a foldable jacket in mine. Love it! (And I got a great price!!)

Perfect bag for traveling or out for a long day of errands. The bag is nice looking and has a lot of room without looking huge or bulky. It also has helpful security features for when you’re going to be in large, crowded public places like airports, train stations and shopping malls. It also seems to be very well made.

UPDATED: My bag arrived used and dirty, which I didn't notice right away. I DID notice that it didn't have any of the tags on it, nor were any of the clasps closed- but I'm OK with returned items as long as they are still brand new. However, after taking a closer look- I can see stains and dirt. Not happy that I paid full price for a USED one.ORIGINAL POST: We have an upcoming trip to Europe and I wanted a bag that could carry my wallet, passport, eyeglass case, sunglass case, small cosmetics bag (hand sanitizer, tissues, nail clippers, hand moisturizer, small nail file, chapstick, ibuprofen), a few granola bars, a note pad, pen, my cell phone (XL) and still have room to cram in a super thin jacket. I also wanted a place to stash receipts, maps, brochures, etc. and also have a spot for a water bottle.I ordered several bags to choose from, and THIS is the one that I kept. It has the perfect amount of pockets and storage. Room for everything- and I can still cram a thin jacket into it if I need to. Or, in cold weather I could probably put my gloves and a knit hat in it, but not much else. I like that the water bottle pocket is on the outside and doesn’t intrude to the inside. This bag is going to be my go-to bag for all my traveling (Europe, Disneyland, Zoo, etc.)** THERE IS A DRAWBACK ** The adjustment for the shoulder strap hits my collarbone. I'm going to have to either wear this backwards, or across my other shoulder, or make some sort of modification to make this bag work. Whether that's deconstructing the strap and re-sewing it, or making a padded sleeve, or..... ?? I like the bag so much, though, that I'm willing to risk it.Here are the other bags that I tried out- in case you are looking for the perfect bag, too:Ranked in order of size…Travelon Quilted North/South Medium- I have to say, this bag is an amazing bag with tons of storage and tons of pockets. If I were carrying things for my kids or husband, this would be the one I’d go with. Or, if I was traveling someplace cold where I wanted room to stash my gloves, hat and scarf when I’m indoors- this would be perfect. It’s so big you could almost carry a spare pair of shoes in it (ie Disneyland walking!) But for just me, in normal weather, it was too much. Too big and too many pockets.Travelon Classic Crossbody Bucket Bag- I really wanted to like this one, but the buckle sat right across my collarbone. The bag was quite large, but set up well with easy to access pockets and storage. The drawback to this bag, for me, was the styling. It was so “blah”. I ordered the gray, and it just felt too industrial and lacked style.Travelon Heritage Hobo- This one was my absolute favorite in appearance. I just LOVED it. But the zippers were so big and scratchy, the pockets were really hard to get things in and out of them because of the zipper style. I was so sad. Storage wise- it was perfect. Utility wise- so hard to use.Travelon Classic North/South Crossbody Bag- this is the one I ultimately kept.Travelon Asymmetric Small East/West Crossbody- I wanted to keep this one, too….. as a smaller bag… it’s more of a purse style. It doesn’t have room to store a thin jacket, nor does it have the water bottle pocket, but it has a good look to it and a nice amount of pockets.Travelon Small East/West Crossbody- this is more like a purse. Even smaller than the Asymmetric one. Way too small for any daytripping so I didn’t even take it out of the packaging to try it.

Es muy funcional, espacioso. Tiene muchos bolsillos, los cierres gruesos, resistentes y la lona de calidad. El bolsillo exterior no es muy funcional porque mi botella de agua es de litro, pero para una botella pequeña puede funcionar, o para guardar los lentes, o algo pequeño está bien. El color me encantó porque combina muy bien con tonos oscuros y claros.

Great travel bag! Just the right size with the perfect amount of storage and lightweight. Color is true to photo. Good quality.

This is a well planned bag with many pockets. However, I am a small woman and it is not only heavy on my shoulder, but looks like I am playing dress up, carrying my mom's bag. It is big and for such a large size, holds surprisingly little. There is a little side, zippered pocket. I can't figure out what it is for--a pencil? It is too small for a water bottle.I guess the bag has protective metal in the strap and body of the bag; I will have to take the maker's word for it as a magnet would not stick.I wanted to use it for an everyday, secure bag, and it has numerous locks to that end. My problem is I know I won't bother locking each zipper each time I open it. This is NOT the fault of the manufacturer, just an observation on how I, and I think, most people operate: we get in a hurry.. The locks are easy to engage, but a big troublesome to unlock.Nice bag for many, with a few flaws, just not for me. I wish I liked it.

Used this bag to travel two recent trips holidays. Comfortably wore as a crossbody.lots of space. Fits iPad in main compartment. Plenty of pockets for stuff to be organised whilst travelling. Liked the secure fastening on zips especially having to put bags through x ray machines and in overhead locker. Sturdy and well made. Defo, recommend.
