08-03-2026These jackets really are everything. I was skeptical when I first ordered one for my oldest boy, doubting it would really hold up. But it has, and then some! I have four boys, all highly active outdoors, in scouts, etc. We needed: warm, waterproof, durable/"wear proof" (not be subject to friction/abrasion), washable... I didn't really think we'd get all of that with these coats, but we have. I bought them for two of my other boys shortly after getting the first, and we have had them for about a year now. They practically live in them, and they get regular HARD use. The only evidence of this is with my oldest's, and that is only in the form of some very mild staining on the orange portions, from all of the dirt and grime it has been subjected to. The black and blue ones still look brand new! Even the zippers have been perfect. They have taken these snow camping, hiking in the pouring rain, etc. - they stay warm and dry. If they had lining in the sleeves, there would be no complaints whatsoever. But that isn't even an issue once they have them on and warmed up.Now that my littlest is finally big enough to fit into the smallest size (these run a tad big, which is great, because they have plenty of growing room in them), I am ordering yet another for him.

08-03-2026A little thinner than expected but otherwise ok. Son loves it because it has the thumb holes and it’s yellow.Will have to see if he stays warm in the snowUpdate: not even a month of wearing it the zipper will not stay zipped up. Not happy with it at all.

08-03-2026I love the colors! I’m giving it 4 stars because although it seems to be made well, i had a hard time getting the zipper to function. After a little tugging and fidgeting with it, it finally worked. Also, the sleeves have these weird inner sleeves sewn into the jacket sleeves, so that when your arm goes through, it also goes into this extra sewn in sleeve and has a hole for your thumb as well. So, all in all, I’m satisfied with the jacket, but, because of those things mentioned, and the fact that I didn’t feel like returning it, I wouldn’t buy it again. One positive is that it IS very warm though. Hope this review helps.

08-03-2026The only reason I went for these coats was because of the great reviews, and I have to add another great review to this list! I was a little concerned because the coats from the pictures didn't look very thick and as you may know the winters can get very cold here in the northeast! I was pleasantly surprised when they came in that they could be so warm while not being really bulky. We ordered two coats for my two boys and ordered a size up hoping to get a couple of winters out of them. They are a little big but of course that was my plan so they fit as expected, with a little growing room! They are great quality, and the feature of the built in "glove" will be a problem solver for playing outside in the snow because my boys get really upset when snow gets in their sleeves. This will definitely prevent that. You will obviously still need winter gloves to put over but I am very impressed with this feature. Both of my kids really love their new coats. The selection of colors is great too. Shipping was faster than expected.

08-03-2026I ordered a size 8 (US). It just arrived on time before the ice and snow storms. I am very thankful. My son is 6 years old and he loved it. This jacket is a little bit bigger on the sleeves length and it gives a nice room for another t-shirt and sweater to keep him warm. The material is perfect, warm and soft. The colors are bright.

08-03-2026(Medium) My son loves the Jacket, it's warm and the colors are great, yellow and navy blue. The leanth of the sleeves were a bit long but we folded them and it still looked good. He loves that the sleeves has the thumb through option. I will definitely get another year or two with this jacket, since I bought a next size up, but didn't really need to size up. It would definitely fit true to size if your concern is that it runs small, it doesn't. This jacket is amazing for the price, great quality!!! Do recommend!!!

08-03-2026I needed a durable, water repellent, warm coat for my active 2nd grade son. This fits the bill! He loves the supersoft fleece lining, thumbhole cuffs and big hood, and I like the bright color (we got the orange/black) and the inner waist strap that can seal the bottom of the coat from wind gusts. It does run smaller than expected - we had to order a 10/12, when he's been a Size 8 in other coats. The 10/12 is big but not too big - we *may* get 2 years out of it....

For the past two years my two oldest have been going through growth spurts and play very hard in their outside gear. When I went to purchase jackets for over $100 apiece for this winter season, I just couldn’t bring myself to pay that much for coats that would only last one season. I came across these and decided to give them a try. I bought them back in October and it is now Beginning of Feb. these coats are GREAT! They have held up great! I love that they have a snow guard on the inside for extra warms and element protection. We live in Maine and my 8 year old and 6 year old say that they are warm and comfortable. They are easy to clean as well. It is awesome to be able to buy two coats for the price of one and still have it be good quality. I found that they are very true to size.If you looking for good quality, warm winter coat that you don’t have to over pay for, this is it!

Goes perfect & easy to spot him out of all the black & navy boys jackets. Love that it’s water & wind resistant too. Keeps him really warm for Chicago winters. Highly recommend.
