I was torn between giving these scissors 3 or 4 stars; 3.5 is where I would have landed if that was possible. I'm not an expert on manicure tools but I am a long time needle worker (embroidery, beading, sewing, etc.) so I'm quite familiar with the quality spectrum of various kinds scissors. In my opinion, these nail scissors are overall a good quality for the price. However, they're not of the caliber to last a lifetime so keep browsing if that's what you're looking for ;-)The scissors are very nicely packaged; they're held securely in a custom die-cut foam insert inside of a slim, metal 2-piece box (see pic). Total length is approx. 3 5/8" from top to tip; the finger holes are elongated circles with internal measurements of 11/16" wide x approx. 1" high. Anyone with very large hands/fingers or with arthritis/swollen knuckles may find these scissors painful or difficult to use. The blades are very sharp; the cutting action is somewhat stiff initially. I'm dubious as to whether these scissors are adequate for pedicure purposes - I think they're not, if one is dealing with very thick or very hard toenails.I did a lot of searching before purchasing these scissors and I'm satisfied with them. I was looking for a sturdy, well-made pair of budget nail scissors, and these fit the bill for me.

Very nice. It's sharp, does the job. And my bulky fingers fit nicely in the loops.

I needed a strong pair of scissors to cut my husband's nails. I also use these. They are sturdy and cut better than most. The price is good and the quality is above average.

The scissors seem to be very sharpe and they have a nice weight to them. The openings for my fingers are large enough but not so large that they are too loose to get a good grip. The cutting edges are sharp and the blades do not have any gaps. The blades seem very strong and I feel confident they will maintain their shape. These are a nice quality and a great value.
