08-03-2026Took a tumble off my bike yesterday I wear this under my Kevlar armored jeans that only have knee protectors I hit pretty hard on the cement and didn't feel a thing so I would say these work pretty good because I have fallen in the past the same way and ended up with massive bruising

08-03-2026Nice tight but comfortable fit. not too bulky.I wear it under my riding jeans and you can barely tell, if at all, that I have them in. Remember, dress for the slide not just the ride.

08-03-2026Really great product. Medium fits perfect - I am 5ft 9 at 180lb. It fits snug enough to stay in place during activities. The waist does go way up but I guess that's to allow for the tailbone protection to fit properly. I wear these under Jean's and shorts and I think the fit is ok. The thigh protector shows a bit but it does not matter to me. I wear separate knee pads and there is adequate room with these to allow for that. I had a crash and this gear did its job- so much so that there were no abrasions at all with the hips or legs- the elbows is where the asphalt got me. So I picked up better elbow pads....overall great purchase.

08-03-2026I purchased these as a form of modernized quiesces for historical fencing/armored combat. For those of us in the SCA, I am a member of Southmarch in AnTir. The fighters out here hit like trucks and don't know what "calibration" means. Since purchasing this, my only grievance is the lack of inner thigh plate. Everywhere else is perfect! I'll be purchasing the long version with integrated knee padding soon.
