08-03-2026Sturdy, adorable creatures, and good strong magnet. Very satisfying reel sound too. We got 2 sets that had 4 players each, and put them in a blow up pool for my son's sea creature themed 4th birthday party. It was a hit. Now it's a good fun way to stay cool outside, with enough fishing poles for friends and neighbors to join in. The teenager and even me in my 30s, had fun trying to catch everything in the list. If using for a group of younger kids, I suggest cooperative activities like assigning a specific color for each to catch, or working as a team to catch only a specific kind.. otherwise "who can catch the most" or "who can get the shark the fastest" was too competitive for some of the younger kids)2-4), and then they've got these extendable weapons in their hands to hit with haha. But I do recommend these. Very happy with them. Easy to set up and some pieces did hold some water, but we just dumped them in the bath tub to dry. If getting multiple sets for a big group like we did, I suggest getting a bigger pool to put them in. That way the lines aren't getting tangled.

08-03-2026I got this product because of the variety of fish and it looked like it would be decent quality. I was wrong. While the variety is good- it’s VERY cheaply made. Half the paint has already come off the fish, the pole has popped off multiple times. BUT my kids love it. The metal screw on the fish is so small that It is hard for them to actually catch the fish but they enjoy trying. It’s a good starter kit or if you’re looking for something cheap. Idk if it’s worth $16- considering it’s Dollar Tree Quality

08-03-2026So much fun & perfect for little hands!I got this magnetic fishing set for my aba center and it has been a huge hit! The pieces are lightweight plastic, brightly colored, and just the right size for little hands. The magnets are strong enough to make it easy and satisfying to "catch" the fish without being frustrating. We’ve used it in the bath and even in a big bowl on the floor for indoor play. It’s great for hand-eye coordination and keeps my kiddo entertained for a long time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a simple, screen-free activity!

08-03-2026The fishing poles themselves can come apart fairly easily, and I decided to use superglue on ours and glue them together permanently because there’s really no point in them being pulled apart constantly by the toddler that is using them. That being said, the fish were great quality and the bag is very good quality as well. I do recommend it as a great toy for toddlers and it definitely keeps mine busy.

08-03-2026The rods are fragile, but my kids still love bathing with the fish/net. The bag is a great way to store their other toys as well. If your kid is going to be up all night crying that their rod(s) broke, best to move on. If they enjoy the simple things and are used to breaking things like my kids then I'd suggest it.

08-03-2026NOT water toys (paint comes off when you rub off any soap suds) I only did it to one toy to test it out based on a review placed recent about this product and can confirm it does wipe away even if you dry it. There was another review stating that the nail which the magnet picks up rusts fast (so it’s best not to use it in water or don’t do it too often.) Packaging did NOT bring the hammer head shark, seahorses, sea shells, turtle, and corals, and much more, just a bunch of repeated fishes in different colors and designs on them. I had requested a replacement and even the new one brought the same things. Photo is very misleading. It does float but again, not suitable for bathe time, paint will rub off. ERY EASILY. It's cheap plastic. Good amount of fishing and you can share with family and friends maybe just 2-4 can play together then take turns. (since I bought the one that comes with two fishing rods and two fishing nets. I believe a pair can play together and the other pair helps catch the fish with their nets and then share and swap. But I was really looking forward to the variety of marine life not just fish but the hammerhead shark would have been nice, turtle, shells, corals, etc. when the heck do you see a duck in the Ocean/Sea water? (Yes I had to say “wtf” in my head to avoid my video be taken down lol) a lot of repeats not enough turtle, hammerhead, shells, and corals like photo advertised.

The magnets are strong enough that it’s easy for little hands to catch the fish, but still challenging enough to keep it fun. Great for hand-eye coordination and learning colors too.
