08-03-2026Although this material is intended as fly-line backing, if you are into fishing with a fixed line and a fly, this works very well as a fishing line with Tenkara-type rods: just add a leader and some tippet and floatant and away you go. This is much cheaper than regular floating line, as well as being lighter. Of course, it also works perfectly if used for its original purpose too.
