08-03-2026Excellent product. I'm a user of Paul Mitchell, Crew and Jack Black. All these aforementioned products are great but this cream blends all these products into one. Not oily or sticky with a very subtle scent of citrus with a medium hold. Doesn't leave your hair like a rock after use too.

I recently attempted to replenish my supply through Amazon, but was put off by both the price & shipping time.I cancelled my order and decided to try Fix Your Lid forming cream. WOW! I’m impressed. It offers great value—quality at a much lower price than AC’s variant.The scent is fantastic, not as subtle as AC but veryyy satisfying to the nostrils. Its texture is a bit more firm than AC which I consider a positive in that it’s not as sticky. The presentation and hold have a “naturalness” which I really like—I would just recommend your hair be at least *slightly* wet when applying. However, dry application is still OK.All in all, I’m pleased to have found an economical replacement for American Crew without sacrificing anything noticeable in terms of quality. Consider me a Fix Your Lid kinda guy from now on!!

08-03-2026This cream is great. Smells nice and is easy to work with. You don’t need a lot either but that depends on how much hair you have. I keep mine pretty short so I don’t use a lot of the cream. The hold is just right and if my hair gets messed up for whatever reason, I can get my hands wet and run them over the hair and brush it again to make it look good. The residue washes off of my hands and out of my hair easily. For me, one tub can last 3-4 months.Also made in the USA!

It has a pleasant scent, is easy to wash out, and comes in both a 1.7 oz trial size and a 3.75 oz regular size.Fix Your Lid products come in 5 different holds ranging from Ultra Light to Extreme Hold, works as well as other brands I’ve tried, and costs about half the price of other similar products.Highly recommend!
