good chips
Lived in Seattle in the 90's and remember the great "Cascade Potato Chips", assumed these were the same. They are an utter disappointment. Thick, yes, but no flavor and too hard. The old Cascade chips used to be made with Peanut oil and these are not, they are made with run of the mill vegetable oil. It seems these are nothing from what I remember. Zapps and Kettle brand are the new kings of chips. I honestly can't understand all the good ratings here.
I’m obsessed over these chips!! Very thick, crunchy and NOT SALTY. But, it’s WAY TOO EXPENSIVE and the bags comes ONLY HALF-FULL. It’s a shame because I can’t find them in regular grocery stores.
Thick and crispy and salty. Yummy! Wish I could find these locally.
Bad taste and texture. Ordinary chips are much better and less costly.
I've seen others rate these poorly as they state that the manufacturer changed from using peanut oil to using vegetable oil. I guess their taste buds are extra-sensitive. Well too bad for them, as I've been eating these chips for over 30 years and they taste just as great now as they did then. So much so as I ate the 2 bags I got in no time, LOL!
Bought online as we're in home quarantine and wanted a tasty treat for a otherwise boring meal. These were incredible! I had never had them before and they were so delicious! An incredible treat!
I tried these for the first time several years ago visiting seattle at a relatives house. I loved them so much and told them how good they were . They sent me some in the mail. Very addictive chips I must add

Zapp’s Chips has been delivering the flavor and spirit of Mardi Gras right to your door, complete with authentic Cajun seasonings and unique New Orleans style.

Irresistibly strange, daringly different. Kettle cooked, one batch at a time since 1985. Zapp's brings the party to you.
Boulder Canyon was founded by brothers John and Mark Maggio in 1994, who together wanted to create a healthier but equally delicious snack option.
The two learned the methodology of making potato chips and soon after started to create healthier options using better-for-you oils, like olive oil or avocado oil. The Boulder brand was born and the rest is history.
Since 1994, the Boulder Canyon brand has delivered kettle cooked potato chips with unsurpassed quality and taste.
It all started with an amazing Tex-Mex dinner and some unforgettable margaritas at an On The Border Restaurant, when we thought—why not bring that same Border-style flavor into the home?
We choose every ingredient with purpose and take our time to ensure each product bursts with flavor and delivers a perfect crunch. Because takin’ it slow is just how we do things around here. Bring the Cantina Home.
It starts with the ingredients. Simple and familiar ingredients with just the right blend of flours and the perfect balance of sea salt
