Wanted to try a bread machine without making a huge investment. Decided on this one and so far quite happy.Pros:1. Reasonably small footprint.2. Directions are mostly clear, with a good number of recipes included3. Shape of bread pan. Produces almost square loaves. Nice for sandwiches!4. Very simple to clean5. Results so far very consistent and reliable - makes great bread! (Have tried 3 different recipes, each a couple times so far)Cons:1. A bit noisy during knead cycles2. Appliance sometimes "walks" due to the motion during kneading. I don't think it would move itself so much as to fall off the counter, but as a safety measure, I place the unit near the back of the counter, bundle the excess cord length with a bread tie and use it almost as a leash. I figure if the machine really moves itself forward enough, it'll unplug itself before it falls. (So far, mine has only moved itself an inch or two)3. Love the bread shape (square) but note - a standard toaster is too shallow to accommodate the entire slice - about 1/2" sticks out the top. I flip the toast around midway through.4. Audible beeps for "add in" and "paddle" (removal, if desired) are easy to confuse. I wish the tones sounded different.Overall, very satisfied with this machine. I've put it in my "good to give as a gift" category.
What a Great Bread Maker! I’ve stopped buying store bought bread for almost $5.00 a loaf that keeps going up and up. This Cuisinart Bread Maker does it all from Bread to rolls, to cakes and even jam. There is a wide variety of go-to features that make using this machine very easy and it’s programmable to delay baking if you like fresh bread in the morning. The size of this machine is not so large to take up limited counter space and with the controls and menu window towards the front of the machine you can clearly see all the settings. Having a choice of loaf size is also very nice. It comes with a nice instruction booklet with some recipes, clear to read and understand. One feature I like is that if I want to remove the finished dough and shape and bake it in my oven I have that option with a menu beeper that tells me when to remove the dough. This is my second purchase of this machine and I love it.
This bread machine is awesome! Something everyone should know is that there is a science to bread making, one you master it, you’re good to go. Once you learn how to use this bread maker, it’s so easy. The nonstick bread pan is so great, because the bread never sticks to the walls of the pan. The bread machine always mixes the ingredients perfectly and so well. The shape of the bread pan and bread itself is amazing. The bread comes out perfect every time. Bread making couldn’t have been made easier! The bread slices are literally the exact size to fit into the toaster. Ever since this bread maker was purchased, no bread from the store has been bought! It is so much cheaper to make bread yourself than to buy it from the store. I never would have thought bread making could be this easy. The bread makes the house smell so good! Every time you walk into the house you just smell delicious bread! When the bread is finished baking, the whole family is waiting, just to get a piece of the bread. I encourage you to buy this bread machine and to just make bread at home!!! This bread machine does not disappoint. You can make all sorts of bread in this machine. I love my bread machine and I’m even considering to buy another one. If there were more than 5 stars for the review, I would give it 10/10 stars or more if possible!
Súper recomendable. Todos aman los pasteles y pan de sándwiches. Super fácil de usar y práctica.
We had an older Cuisinart bread maker an we wore it out so we purchased another one. We love it !
I waited a long time before writing this review because I wanted to make sure I could say something beyond the honeymoon stage. Now I'm finally ready to do so. This machine has turned out to be a blessing. Sure, it has its quirks like any other automatic appliance. For instance, the suction cups that should secure it to a counter surface aren't that strong (more on that later), but at least it does what it offers. Now, I need to inform you that while the basic white bread process renders the most delicious bread on earth, the whole wheat was a disaster. I will take responsibility for it, because machines aren't smart enough to fail on their own. I liked that I can add stuff or replace it and the machine keeps on going (I learned to use oil instead of butter, real milk instead of powdered milk, and to add raisins or cranberries to my white bread).Good things: timer reliability, very good dough kneading, crust baking, ease to prepare bread and to remove loaf at the end.Not too satisfactory (but then, this may be because of other factors): whole wheat bread was a disaster, and so was trying to make a baguette dough. It just didn't rise, but I'm taking responsibility because I must have made a mistake. Now, the funny story (back to the suction cups): I got used to set up the machine at 10 or 11 o'clock the night before to wake up to freshly baked bread. This machine is good at it. However, when it's in the kneading cycle it almost dances... and the last time I left it to work overnight, it danced... and fell to the floor. Disaster: the dough was on the floor (salvageable), and the machine lost its lid (broken hinge). Here's the nice part: I contacted the manufacturer. They requested that I sent them a photo of the damaged machine. I did, and their reply was to offer me a new one, free of charge, as a courtesy—yet, with the severe admonition that I should never leave the machine unattended. Why make it programmable then? In any case, if the machine performance was quite satisfactory and the bread was loved by my whole family, now I can add a word about Cuisinart: they really stand by their product. The machine was so tough that even with a broken hinge it still made good bread! Needless to say, I'm continuing using this machine and can recommend it because of its ease of use, bread quality (at least the white bread) and good results.
This is definitely worth the money. This little machine makes amazing bread because I can't. I've had it for months now before doing a review because I wanted to really give an honest opinion about it. It's compact. Easy to clean and store. Doesn't take up much room on the counter. it's a little on the noisey side but I sill love it. It's easy to use. As long as you use quality ingredients you will always have great bread/ dough. I would definitely pass on the recipes that are included with it. Just go to Pinterest or any other site for bread maker recipes.
Me encanto hacer el pan de molde en esta máquina. Echas todo y ella hace el trabajo
