Really good at control Burns a little small but keeps smoke out and heat, used them for 3weeks they don't have damage 10/10
Love these safety glasses. They are very comfortable. I live in Florida and the sun gets pretty bright. These glasses make it easier to see when I'm working in the yard. Only problem I've experienced is that they do sometimes fog up. Takes only a few seconds to wipe them down and I'm back to work. 5-Stars
Excelente producto, cumple con lo que se ofrece. Cómodo, y no se empaña. Funcional para usar con lentes personales. Tiene buen ajuste y no lastima su uso por tiempo prolongado.
I bought these for aviation-ground reasons and lemme tell you that these goggles are nice. When my face was cut, the goggles received very very few scratches. The strap makes for a nice and tight yet comfortable fit.
Pros:- Well built for large face.Cons:- Not easy to use with OTG. Press my glasses against my nose. Very uncomfortable.- Small nose will leave gap- Cushion on the nose area stick out. Able to stick dust after use. Poor QC. See photo.
I purchased these to wear while doing metalwork (grinding and sawing) and they are the best. Ordinary safety glasses or face shields leave a gap between your face that sparks can fly under, these goggles fit tightly, but comfortable to your skin, so there is no gap. The eye protection that these give is the best I have used, so far in my experience, the lens stays clear, even on hot days. I recommend these to anyone looking for good eye protection.
Cómodos, casi no pesan y se amoldaron bien a mi cara tienen apertura a los costados para lentes oftalmicos, sin embargo creo que no son problema o se le puede poner una esponja para sellarlos si es que consideras que por ahi entra aire.
I bought this product based upon the apparent popularity on Amazon, despite some of the negatives that were touted. Biggest thing seemed to be a lack of proper fit which didn't allow for a total seal. I decided to take a flier on this anyway, and I'm really not disappointed.I'm a retired firefighter, and I was looking for a goggle that I could use in a brush fire situation. I live in a wildland area, and I was recently forced to work in fire zone while helping to evacuate our horse (among others) just recently. With this incident, I didn't have goggles, and I regretted it from the outset. Winds up to 50 mph along with embers and debris made me wish I had my goggles, but I didn't have them. That's why I looked to buy a set. This set is seemingly well made and is comfortable. Many of the goggles I looked at online are designed to work with a helmet, which meant the headband might be overly big. Maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't want to take the chance. Not the case with this goggle. It is easily adjusted to fit a head without a helmet.I was looking for a non-vented goggle to help protect from smoke intrusion. This goggle seemingly met that description, so I pulled the trigger. Fit-wise, most of the periphery of the goggle makes a very good seal for me. That's a plus. However, since this goggle is designed to go over glasses, there is a slight gap in the seal at the temple which allows for glasses earpieces to pass through. No amount of adjustment can make up for this gap.Maybe I'll look to see if I can fill that gap with silicon, but maybe I won't. If you are in a brush fire situation, the smoke will be bad, but blowing debris and ash will be the biggest hazard for your eyes. These will certainly fill the bill for that. These were purchased specifically for use while working around a brush fire. They haven't been tested yet in that regard, but it seems to be a very good product for the price. If you're simply looking for eye protection for other tasks (chainsaw or other situations where the eye might be threatened), these will certainly fill the bill.I gave this five stars based on what I was looking for and what was delivered. I may be proven wrong down the road, but I'm happy with this purchase at the outset.
These were very comfy and kept the smoke out entirely at the prescribed fire I was at earlier this month. It’s a huge improvement over my old safety glasses! The other practitioners there were impressed and wanted to know where I got them.
Theyre great quality but they do not actually seal fully, there are places where vapor could enter. Also lens is polycarbonate so they will get scratched, damaged, and dissolved from mechanical wear heat and chemicals, then again every pair of goggles nowadays are polycarbonate and become useless within a week compared to the old laminated glass. Not sure how well you could clean soot off this or damage by heat but meh
This is a high-quality product, well designed and fits tightly on the face. I will wear these in smoke, wind, debris swelling, and feel comfortable my eyes are protected. They fit over my eyeglasses, but it takes a bit of maneuvering since one has to hold it away from the face long enough to cover the glasses while holding the glasses steady. It's a two-handed action, but once in place the goggles leave plenty of room for your glasses. There is not the sense that you are crunching your face. These function well and are a good value for the money.
First the goggles, and then my hack:GOGGLES: As described by another reviewer, these goggles have slots for the temples of eyeglasses, so they are not 100% tight. However, that was very easy to remedy with a little piece of foam weather stripping. The goggles are a pretty good fit to my face, which is pretty average for European ancestry. Flatter and broader noses probably wouldn't fit well, and there is not a lot of forgiveness (cushion) in the fit. The lenses DO NOT FOG, even if you try to fog them directly with your breath. They are very clear and of good optical quality. They are reasonably comfortable and easy to put on. They may not fit well with all masks, but there is generally pretty good space over the nose. Furthermore, the nose area of the goggles can hold down the edge of most masks.MY HACK (see photos): I cannot read without my reading glasses, and this pandemic is driving me nuts. When I put on my specs, I have to take off my goggles. And I'm worried I might infect myself by transferring germs to my eyes. No longer! These goggles seem to have an attachment area for some accessory around the nose, and I used it for attaching reading specs. I cut a notch in the rubber and zip-tied a pair of Noble brand flat reading specs to the mask. The specs can flip up or down. In the down position, I get a tiny "bifocal" area down low, which works for most purposes. In the up position, the specs are in the center of my visual field - suitable for reading a computer screen. I had to make one tiny modification to the specs: The bridge is a plastic "spring" that grips the nose. I had to heat the bridge very carefully to soften the plastic, so that I could re-form it with the lenses in a more "flat" orientation.Overall, I'm very pleased with the goggles and am giddy that I now have specs I can use without doffing my PPE and risking contamination! :-D
