08-03-2026Timberland's cordura wallet is the closest duplicate to an older Eagle Creek cordura wallet which I carried for years and, sadly, seems to no longer be made. In between, I had been given a leather wallet which I never could make work well for me. I chose this one in olive color, but it's available in black or Navy as well. Construction appears to be sturdy, and the choice of an orange colored lining in the area for folding money is helpful. Velcro strips provide a positive closure of the wallet.Inside you'll find some 14 individual card slots for credit and other cards. Unfortunately, a nice detail that would have made those slots almost perfect would have been to make them different depths, so that cards were more visible when installed in them. Nonetheless, just the provision of so many slots allows you to segregate cards from one another, and it doesn't take long at all before you'll be remembering which card is in which slot.There's a separate license/ID card holder, having a heavy plastic window, also stitched in as a part of the wallet. Overall I've found it a vast improvement over the bulkier leather wallet this replaced; a wallet that had a tendency to want to slip out of pockets, and that was just too small to be a good fit for cards.

08-03-2026I've bought this wallet in October of 2020. 5 years later it still looks great and easily has another 5 years left in it... probably more. I love that its RFID protected and that the inside in lined with an orange brightly visible material; allowing everything in the wallet to be easily seen w/out overlooking small items.CON is that velcro which is noisy. I simply put a small piece of on the hook side and problem solved.

08-03-2026It looks and feels well made and therefore durable, which is may in fact be. However, the card pockets are a bit too tight and they allow the cards to fully overlap. Furthermore, with all the pockets occupied, the wallet becomes too thick to fold over nicely, bending the cards and placing tension on the velcro that does not need to be there. If each pocket were about 1/16" of an inch larger in each dimemsion and the wallet about 1/4" longer, it would be easier to store cards (and they would still be retained well) and the wallet would fold much easier. Overall, it seems it was designed to look good, but not actually be used.

08-03-2026It's very well made. Very rugged. Breathable, not like leather, sweating in your back pocket all day. Easy to slide cash in and out, plenty of room for cards, receipts, etc. Being a tri-fold, it folds up a little smaller than most wallets do. Has RFID protection and an easy access compartment for ID or license. There really isn't much more a real man could ask for in a wallet. This is one order I'm very pleased with. Shipping was fast, accurate and right on time. Price was very reasonable. This wallet seems built to last for a lifetime.
