The only downside is that they're a little bit shorter than expected, but I'm a little over 6 feet tall and since these aren't as formal of ties, you're unlikely to be judged as harshly for it. That said, they'd be basically perfect if you're short.

He wore them with slacks and brown leather vans, and with shorts. He wore these to his college trips and looked clean cut and professional while being comfortable.
