The Microstream USB is a compact Lithium-ion battery-powered flashlight designed for use in all markets. It features a tail cap switch, momentary or constant on operation, high and low beams, a combination pocket/hat clip for convenience, and amazing brightness and run time for a light of its size and price. The aluminum housing with Type II Military Spec anodizing helps make the light extremely durble and abrasion resistant. To charge the light, slide the head cover forward to expose the micro USB port.
Great mini task light. Easy to use. One button push for low. Two for high. Click for constant on.Light output is good for its size. Enough to be usable. Good Hotspot / focus for a mini light.Rechargeable batteries is a huge plus. Power / battery life is good.Small form factor. Easy to carry in a bag or pocket. Takes up little space.
I absolutely love this flashlight! I have many of them for my EDC. They are small, light, powerful, can be focussed, two brightnesses settings, rechargeable, reliable, affordable, and rugged.
Great pocket flashlight. Super bright and small, the battery lasts a good long while as well.
Small dog walking torch, the pen clip is great as is the battery life. Love the red LED indicator when it’s getting close to be recharged. Loads of light with nice wide areas shown.
Very dood brightness for size of it.
The flashlight is great but has a flaw that it gets hot fairly quickly on both high and low setting
Es la mejor lámpara que he visto de ese tamaño, no ilumina tanto pero para su tamaño da muy buena luz, es recargable llevo más de un mes de uso regular, obvio no continuo, y no la he vuelto a cargar.
Pros:Compact size (the length about the size of my index finger from tip to knuckle, I use XL gloves)Lightweight (Stays in shirt pocket and doesn't fall out)Good BrightnessMetal case, so should be fine from 5ft drop onto cement (haven't tested yet tho)Rechargeable, if that model is purchased (about 2-3hr if fully charged)Cons: "focusing" lens/adjustment is virtually pointless, as in barely makes a difference (tip slides out to "focus" light beam )The On/Off button modesThis is my biggest gripe and The reason I gave this light a 4star instead of 5starsI believe the button has 2 modes of use1: press lightly and hold button down for quick inspections or uses (manually keeping light powered on2: click light on/off, for extended periods of useFor the 1st mode, Light works great, highly recommend if you plan to use it like that, BUT the 2nd mode is where I have my issue. The button require alot more effort to click on/off than it should. I started thinking I might be getting arthritis (I am a mechanic so possible) because sometimes I could not click it on/off without pressing down fairly hard. I assume it's an issue with how "small" the button is (the rubber isn't as squishy, so more resistance) but I have had times where I'm having to actually "think" about how I'm pressing the button, because I'm unable to click it on/off, I've never had similar issues with other lights before, except for when the button was broken.Edit: I added a small piece of paper under the button (you can unscrew the button) and now I can click it on and off effortlessly. Also added pictures showing the "focusing" function.
Streamlight always delivers top-quality flashlights, and this compact one is no exception. Despite its small size, it emits a surprisingly powerful beam, making it perfect for emergencies. A key selling point is its convenient rechargeable feature, eliminating the need to remove the battery. Plus, the long-lasting Lithium Ion cell ensures extended use. Just be cautious as the LED bulb can generate heat with prolonged use. It's no wonder this is the preferred "penlight" among law enforcement professionals. I absolutely love this flashlight and highly recommend it for anyone in need of a reliable light source!
I have purchased 9 of these from Amazon, the first one on October 8, 2020. That is the one in my picture. It is my EDC and has been since I got it. The coyote anodizing is wearing quite a bit, but that is after nearly 5 years of everyday carry. I did break the clip and had to replace it a year or so ago. The battery life is still really pretty good. I don't have to charge it too frequently, but it is easy to charge and I don't have to remove my battery, like an Olight I have. I do wish Streamlight would update it with a USB C but as of right now I have plenty of cables and chargers to use for this guy and my others I have lying around my house, my truck and my desk. They are pretty bright too. These are brighter than the alkaline version that is basically the same size. I love the ability to click it on at two levels of brightness or to be able to tap it on and hold it without clicking. They make a great gift. Everyone should have a good flashlight and a pocket knife with them and this is my go to! I think this is the best light you can get for the cost and rechargeability.
