Seiko Herren-Uhr Kinetik Edelstahl mit Lederband

This Watch is a very attractive piece, and a Quartz watch that does not require a battery replacement every year or so. I can always tell the quality of a watch by operating the crown as you set the date or time. Cheap watches are a clumsy feeling link between the hands of the watch and your finger tips making it hard to set it precisely, and the crown is supposed to move in and out with precision. This is not a cheap watch. When i got the watch a month ago i set it, since then i have had no need to set it again because it is accuracy is within one second per week. The finish of the case and dial are of the quality Seikos are known for. This is the first non railroad approved watch I've owned in 50 years. Seiko has been making Railroad approved watches since 1977. It's not a Rolex but I wasn't looking for something i would feel stupid to wear everyday. Just a quality time piece that has beauty and accuracy that you can wear in the water swimming, and don't cost you a thousand bucks.Now, what I disliked. The band.. I plan on replacing the leather band with a good watch bracelet. I think that a stainless and gold bracelet would enhance both the comfort and looks of the watch.

This is what I wanted! An everyday watch that looks great and performs like I know Seiko can! I am a watch guy and my style is minimalist in design, accurate, good lume, and comfortable. This beauty is all of those things and it is the perfect size for my wrist. Many purists will tell you that quartz watches are lesser than, but I disagree. I don't consider the arrival of the quartz watch to be a crisis but instead a revolution. Now the masses could afford good looking, if not high quality, watches. Their weakness was always the battery. You could replace it, but, whether you did this yourself or with the help of a licensed jeweler the life of the watch was shortened every time. Well this kinetic design solves that issue. As long as you keep wearing it the watch will last and remain accurate. You will have to replace the capacitor every 12 to 15 years but that is much better than prying the back open every 2 or 3. There are some watches in my collection whose batteries have been changed so often the water resistance rating is no longer viable.the best part is it is a Seiko. A trusted and well established brand! Definitely worth the money!

Verified PurchaseAs with all Seiko watches the workmanship and quality are superb. This is indeed a gorgeous watch to look at. I was initially interested in the green dial version of this model but the came across the image used by Amazon of this one. I looked at the two images Amazon use, then I Googled it to see pictures and finally asked how the real thing compared with the pictures on Amazon.In the meantime as there were only two left I sent for one.Answers began coming in, all but one indicating that the watch was a light cream and not a dark beige as is imaged. I was hoping they were wrong as I already have a cream dial on another watch I own, albeit a Timex.The watch arrived today and it is almost exactly the same colour as my Timex Expedition face, just a bit richer (darker). However the Seiko is metallic looking so shines a lot more and it has a racertack between the indeces which is brushed so it stands out. Add to that the angled dial ring and it is a striking watch indeed.Strap is beautiful calf leather of quality. The see-through back is always a nice touch.It does make a slight noise when moving it 2 times a second to charge it. Not a bad noise but it is obvious, at least when this is done whilst not on the wrist. I am not sure if it is supposed to do that.In the end I decided that although beautiful that I would return it and maybe pay a little more to have the green dial version instead. But I must tell you that this had nothing at all to do with the watch itself or any part thereof. It was based simply on the fact that had I kept it I'd have had two 40/42mm watches of almost the same face colour.This is a gorgeous watch at an amazing price and unless you are extremely particular like myself.

I wanted something different than my Eco Drive watches and mechanical watches.This Seiko kinetic fits the bill. I normally don't like green dial watches,but this one is beautiful to look at. Im glad that I made the purchase.

This watch is beautiful. The gold accents against the green background is gorgeous. The strap is of high-quality. The hands are big and easy to see. The non-functional bezel is a very nice accent, even though it doesn’t rotate. It’s very easy to set and very accurate this watch. I love the fact that you get the Quartz accuracy without having to replace a battery. I like how you can hear the rotor moving when you move your arm or shake the watch (it’s very subtle) it’s kind of like a tactile feedback to let you know the watch is winding. There is a very nice feature to check the charge on the watch, you press the button at the 2 o’clock and the secondhand rotates into position to show you how much charge is left on the watch. If the secondhand does a half of revolution, you have a full charge which lasts six months. This watch is a great value!
