This is a perfect dryer for my apartment. I bought this dryer my daughter and I. I got tired of hanging my clothes up after spin drying them from my portable washer. They would take forever to dry any would sometimes end up with a musty mildewy smell. This dryer will dry your clothes thoroughly IF you load in a little at a time. Do NOT stuff this dryer or you'll get more than your feelings hurt. The different heating levels help with estimating the speed time. It was easy to set up and use. It's really just plug and play. There is very low noise and not weird squeaking sounds when using it. I have had any experiences with bad shipping. Everything came intact. It was supposed to be delivered by my local post office and it took a week longer to receive because they claimed the box was too big to deliver (yeah right) so I had to pick it up and out with no dolly needed. (SMH) It has a little weight to it but there are handles that make it easy to move around the house. The dryer is very good quality. No cheap plastics or metal used on these. The only thing I wish they could have done on this dryer is to have the dial control knob on the top of the dryer instead of the bottom. I had to find something tall to place this on to make my drying the laundry a little easier.
I was very surprised by the heat intensity, it dries super good if you don't overload it. I would buy again
This dryer is absolutely amazing. It’s quiet. It’s powerful. It gets the job done! 15/10
I was really looking forward to trying this dryer the reviews were great, it arrived a week and a half early, tracking was perfect, I was so excited hauled my full size dryer outside opened this one up to see its damaged.I called customer service immediately, i heard back from someone within a few hours, with a few options I had to chose from. With in 24 hours I was offered a partial refund as the dryer still worked it just was crushed a little.Got it all set up it works wonderfully. As most say it does take a while to dry things, I give mine an extra spin in the washer before I throw it in the dryer and it seems to help.Great machine, great customer serviceKeeps up well with 2 people 3 dogs and cat in the home .
I’ve had this little dryer for a couple of weeks now and it has made my life so much easier. I live in a tiny one bedroom apartment and have next to no storage space. I was able to fit this on top of the shelving unit I have in my bathroom over my toilet. I used a couple of bungee cords to hold it in place just to be safe since it does cause the shelf to rattle a bit while it’s running.I’ve seen some reviews complaining about how long it takes for things to dry, but I feel like they’re expecting a little too much out of such a small machine. It’s not a traditional dryer, it’s not high powered, so naturally it will take a bit longer for things to dry. I haven’t yet tried anything really heavy duty in it, such as the jeans I wear for work, but I expect something like that will probably take two full cycles to get completely dry. Also, I use wool dryer balls and those definitely help clothes dry faster. Before I bought this I would have to hang dry my clothes, and particularly in the winter when it gets really cold, it was not unusual for things to take a couple to days to fully dry, so doing laundry was a task that I had to plan a few days in advance. This makes my life so much easier. My biggest gripe, and the reason I’m knocking a star off, is because of the issue with the belts. I’ve seen several other reviews complain about this, and it seems to be something the company is fully aware of, and so far as I can tell it doesn’t look like it’s an issue they’re trying to resolve. It seems like most people have an issue with the black belt that turns the barrel slipping off, but my issue was the transparent belt that controls the fan. The first several times I ran the machine my clothes were not only still wet after running them through several cycles, but the dryer would run for about ten minutes, then stop and sit for a long time before starting up again. I contacted customer service to describe my issue, and after talking to them pulled off the back panel to find that the transparent belt was broken, so basically there was no air flow and the machine was overheating, hence why my clothes weren’t drying and the machine kept stopping after only a few minutes. To the company’s credit, customer service was very quick to help me figure out what the issue was and to send me a replacement belt. Once I got the new belt on -a very tedious task- the dryer worked great.Because the belts seem to be such a common issue, I would almost recommend taking the back panel off before ever using the machine just to check that both are properly in place and intact. I would hope that the company is working on ways to prevent this from being a problem in the future, but who knows. I also wonder about the longevity of the belts, so we’ll see how they hold up as time goes on and I use the machine more. For the time being however, now that the dryer is working properly, I’m pretty happy with this little machine.
It takes a while but it dries perfectly. I have had no issues and as I am unable to have a reg size washer dryer this is a life saver. The load dry size is pretty decent and I'm plus size and the loads are good
Takes longer to dry clothes than a 220v , but I expected that.. Reasonably priced. It does a good job, is easy to move around. I am very satisfied with my purchase.Marg
Everyone says It’s a small unit. Yeah well you k we that going in. I have lived part time for my work in my rv for years. I have used many different types of washers and dryers. I had to replace my Rv recently and I just purchase a small 18ft Coleman this time. You have to be creative on the hookups but mine vents through the floor. The little black and decker washer will wash one complete set of clothes at a time. (Fat man clothes to include heavy work pant or jeans). It handles the load fine and drys them in about an hour to and hour and a half. I pull them out and put them away. What more should I need from it? Put them in from the washer and take them out dry. It’s a 110 volt tiny unit, yes longer than a standard dryer but if that’s your comparison then head off to the laundry mat.Ok the bad. Keep the filter clean or you will double your time. There was a rattle coming from it like something was loose. Took the back panel off to find the clear or gummy type belt has no guides and it was periodically slapping the frame and was the source of my rattle which I’m sure would cause it to fail over time.Took a piece of plastic from an empty laundry jug and cut it into a square about the size of a cigarette pack. Glued it onto the frame where the belt contacted it and covered that with two layers of gorilla tape. No more rattle and that repair was two months ago. The factory obviously knew about this as they had glued a very thin piece of foam where the belt contacted the frame but it is so small and thin of a piece that the belt eats it off in just a few uses. A small plastic belt guide should have been usedIt’s only 850 wats so I have no issue running the dryer and the microwave at the same time on a 30 amp.
