08-03-2026Make sure the washer drum bearings are not noisy and worn out before investing in a new circuit board. Bad drum bearings are difficult to find replacements, and may require special tools, experience, or expensive drum replacement parts to fix, not just a circuit board. Check first.. Yes the control board works fine, but my bearings are bad. Not yet fixed. Replaced the pretty red washer with plain white new one.

08-03-2026My washing machine stopped performing hot or warm cycles. After numerous calls to GE they finally provided the number for an authorized repair company in my area. I called them out and the technician informed me that the control board needed to be replaced and it would not be covered under the limited 10 year warranty. He quoted me the cost for repair which was high enough to warrant purchasing a new washing machine. It was obvious to him that I wouldn't be interested in having the repair done at that price. He gave me the part number "in case" I wanted to look into it myself. I found a number of places to order the part from. I wanted the part quickly so I decided to order from Amazon to get prime shipping. Once I had the part I used an online guide to get to the part which requires removing the top of the washing machine. This really is not difficult to do. Once I gained access to the part it was simply a matter of pulling all of the connections from the board and removing a couple screws. Then I reversed the process to install the new part. The part I received is 100% identical to the part I removed. After installing the new control board and putting the top back on I was pleased to find that the washing machine is functioning properly again. Total time spent working on the washing machine was about 30 minutes. Doing it myself saved me 3/4 of the repair cost.

08-03-2026La pieza llego a tiempo. Bien empacada, el material igual a pieza original. Funcionamiento hasta ahora excelente, facil montaje y sobre todo no fue necesario comprar lavadora nueva como me indicaron los 2 tecnicos que revisaron el equipo.

08-03-2026Board was pretty easy to install in replace and worked right away.Shipping left more to be desired as it was packaged as a box jammed within a larger box with little padding. This led to the plastic housing being chipped and broken at one of the crucial points where it screws into the washer. It wasn't a huge issue as I just used the one I already had. Also, it did not come with the paper cover over the board.
