I’m very pleased with this bag. The leather feels high-quality, and the color is rich and attractive. The overall construction appears solid, with well-made zippers that add to its durability. One of the features I appreciate most is that the bag holds its shape rather than becoming floppy over time. It has a sturdy, structured design that looks like it will stand up well to regular use. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.
My husband has been using this for a year and it is in great condition. It is a quality bag! Totally his style.
I ordered a couple of different briefcases from Amazon, including one from this same supplier, but returned them because they were too small for my needs. I keep a lot of stuff in my bag - laptop, chargers, mouse, files, pens, pencils, business cards, and a variety of other random items. This bag was my last shot. When I first got it, I considered returning it due to the lack of INTERNAL zippered pockets (there are none), as I like having those in my briefcase to store important items like keys, thumb drives, etc. This bag does have several EXTERNAL zippered pockets, but all of the internal pockets (other than the large velcro-enclosed semi-padded laptop pocket) are mesh pockets with an open top, so if you turned the bag upside down, stuff in those pockets would likely fall out into the main compartment. Notwithstanding the lack of internal zippered pockets, I decided to keep the bag and give it a try. So far, I've been very happy with it. The size is great - it's definitely large enough to hold everything I need. The bag has some heft to it, which I like, and makes sense given the size of the bag and amount of leather involved, but I don't find it unwieldy or too heavy at all. The quality of the leather seems good so far; it was pretty stiff when the bag was new, but seems to be softening with time. The bag smells of new leather, but I like that smell and it's also dissipating over time. The zippers are not the smoothest in the world, but work fine. My suggestion to the supplier would be to include more INTERNAL zippered/full enclosed cloth pockets (not mesh) in the next release. One more recommendation - to future purchasers - that I got from another reviewer: give the bag an extensive wipe down with a rag prior to use. The one complaint I had seen about this bag was that users were getting dye on their clothing from the bag and I was concerned about that. That said, when I wiped it down with a white rag, there was no transfer of dye to the rag and I have not gotten any dye on my clothing, so maybe it was just a few random bags or a bad lot that had the issue. Nonetheless, I'd recommend doing the wipe down, as it's better to be safe than sorry. Time will tell to see how long the bag holds up, as my previous leather briefcases have all lasted for several years before needing to be repaired or replaced, but so far so good. The bag is definitely a very good value for the price, especially compared to most other leather briefcases that are on the market.
This Vintage Leather Briefcase is constructed from high quality leather which burnishes and beautifies with age, rather than wearing out. I have many leather bags and, in comparison, this is a very durable leather that holds my laptop and accessories with ease. Perfect for travel and work with a nice warm patina. I found that using a leather conditioner and protector keeps the colour from fading or transferring to my clothing. It also provides protection from moisture but all leather should be worn with a rain shield. The strap is very comfortable to wear as a crossbody and the adjustable pad provides stability and comfort. The handles are comfortable to hold and very securely attached . I found it has excellent stitching and is made to last. I appreciated the vintage style and design of this bag that should last for years of use with some care. The zippers with leather pull tabs are extremely durable and slide efficiently without drag or catching. The edging, attention to detail and overall visual design are top notch for this leather briefcase compared to ones that are much more expensive. Overall, it exceeded my expectations of quality and design.
excellent quality, pure leather smell, nicely finished. Several pockets and compartments allow you to organize everything. The price was good.
Very nice Bag Quality leather well made
The item definitely exceeded my expectations! This briefcase was well packaged and it comes with a protective covering that can be reused to help protect it.Crafted from high-quality leather, this briefcase exudes a sense of timeless elegance and durability. I really like the vintage inspired design of this item. It makes for a versatile accessory that can complement both casual and formal attire. The leather has a rich texture which I am sure will only improve only with age.Despite its classic appearance, this briefcase is designed with modern functionality in mind. The spacious interior is large enough to accommodate a 17-inch laptop computer, along with essential documents, files, notebooks, and other business necessities. Multiple compartments and pockets provide ample organization options, allowing me to keep my belongings neatly arranged and easily accessible at all times. The cross body shoulder strap offers versatility and comfort, allowing me to carry the briefcase hands-free while commuting, traveling, or navigating busy city streets. The adjustable strap can be customized to the perfect length for a comfortable fit, while the padded shoulder pad provides added support and reduces strain during extended wear.Overall, I am highly impressed with this product and I would definitely recommend it.
This leather briefcase, though more akin to a "Mee-Maw purse for men," still exudes a certain badass charm while accommodating a plethora of essentials from tissues to legal papers. The organization, though not flawless, offers decent compartments secured by sturdy zippers and magnetically secured flaps. The exterior's full-grain saddle leather is impressive, with well-designed handles and a stout over-the-shoulder strap. Despite some concerns raised in other reviews, my experience was devoid of any odor or dye transfer issues. After a month or two of extensive travel, it has surpassed expectations, proving both rugged and timeless in design. While some partitioning issues exist, it's overall a great value and promises to develop its own unique character over time with proper care. Cheers to the craftsmen behind this cherished possession!
Ok. Let’s start off with a little honesty. This is not really a briefcase. It’s a giant Mee-Maw purse for men. Even so you can still look plenty badass carrying it despite the fact it is packed with tissues, chewing gum, nail clippers, medicine bottles and old lottery tickets, and it will still safely hold your laptop and wireless mouse. The organization is pretty decent but not perfect. It has a compartment with a magnetically secured flap on the side. It has nice pockets for pens, knives, magnifying glasses, and a few basic hand tools. This would be where you will want to store that leatherman multi tool that you always thought you might use. There are two very well made zippers on top that work with almost no fuss. They are massive, and I doubt they will ever pull apart even if you abuse them. If they do ever get a little sticky, I would put a tiny drop, maybe two, of light machine oil on the zipper pull to lubricate it.Inside the zippered compartments there are panels sewn in to separate the contents. This is where you would put your briefs. Not your tighty whities, I’m talking about the legal papers. Just read “The Pelican Brief” if you do not understand. If reading is not your thing, watch “My Cousin Vinny.” You will not learn what a brief is, but it’s a funny movie, and even though there is no nudity, Marissa Tomei is still super hot. Enjoy. The exterior is wonderful, full-grain saddle leather. I was very pleased with the quality of the leather and the construction. It’s still in the super stiff category when it arrives new, and it has the lovely aroma of a saddle store or a B&D boutique. There are two substantial leather handles on top. The briefcase arrives in a tight package that causes the handles to be “trained” to fall toward the center. This is a good thing. Over time, due to the way they are sewn and the way they are shipped, they will stay either upright or toward the center where they are easy to grab rather than flopping flaccidly to the sides. There is a lovely, stout, over-the-shoulder leather strap with high quality brass hardware. The hardware allows the ends of the straps to spin so that no matter which side of the strap you grab, it can be untwisted or reoriented in an instant. The strap can be quickly and easily removed, but don’t be a douche. Use the strap.Other reviews complained about odors, oily surfaces, dye rubbing off on clothes and bags misshapen from shipping. I experienced none of these problems. The leather was supple and beautiful, and as noted before, it smelled so good! My only regret is the lovely aroma completely dissipated in about two days.I’ve had the briefcase for a month or two now. I travel extensively for work, and it’s performed well beyond my expectations. It is rugged, but it’s design is timeless and classy. It would be appropriate whether you are wearing a great suit into a boardroom or a hard hat and work boots onto a job site.If I had a complaint it would be that some of the partitions/dividers in the main compartments are not sewn together at the bottom so you have to be kind of careful where you put small items. Otherwise they will drop into the abyss below the dividers, and you will be forced to dig around for them. Otherwise, this bag is SUCH a good value. I’m looking forward to it softening and scuffing and developing its own unique character as it accompanies me on my travels. I’ll probably dump it out once a year or so to clean it with saddle soap and to apply a good leather conditioner. That’s really all it should ever need. I believe this bag, with proper care and perhaps the attention of a leather repair shop every twenty or thirty years should last a lifetime or perhaps generations. Thank you to the craftsmen who produced mine. It has already become one of my favorite possessions.
So far so good. Will update review if any issues but this bag seems to be holding up well. I use it daily for work. Looks good. Not lightweight. Not a bad thing, I like the heavier construction.
Beautiful construction, roomy interior and looks great
I bought this bag after my other black PU bag wore out. I've taken this to class several dozen times already and it still looks great without any wear marks, peeling or anything, so I'm happy to say that the leather holds up. The zippers are metal, strong, and easy to zip/unzip although they can jingle a bit if you leave them close to each other. This bag has a lot of pockets. It fits my journal and laptop but also a lot of shaped stuff like a breadboard, pliers, computer mouse, water bottle. Not a paid review. I just gotta admit that this is legitimately a nice bag and I'd recommend it to my friends.

Note: due to the characteristics of crazy horse leather, the briefcase has a retro "scratched" & "used" look at first, but the more you use it, the shinier and "newer" it will be. It is a bag of better look with age. As it's made of thick sturdy leather, the briefcase weighs about 4.4lb/2 kg.
The materials we adopt are different from other's bags.
