This is such a good starter mic for anyone who makes podcasts or anything that they want the audio to be crisp. I have a new podcast called 'Heart of the Paige', and I am always looking for better sound quality, and this gave me exactly that. It plugs right into my Mac, and I can change to voice isolation, and it focuses purely on my voice perfectly.

Although the sound quality isn't better than a blue yeti, they sound almost the same and the Blue yeti was $100. But this is better since it's cheaper, same sound quality as my previous yeti, and comes with a long arm stand where my yeti just came with a little cup holder of a stand.

The mic worked perfectly and was clear, it just wasn't compatible with my desk. So I asked for a return and within 3 days my refund had already been accepted and complete, no issues at all, with the funds in my bank account. Amazing behaviour that signifies a company that cares about customers.

The sound is surprisingly good! Definitely do recommend. It’s not heavy to adjust and you can move it well. Your voice is not sensitive it only focuses on your voice unless you use discord lol then it might pick up other voices. I like how long the cord is too so it was able to fit underneath my desk.

Great microphone! Looks and feels like an expensive mic. I appreciate that it comes with a foam cover, pop filter, and adjustable arm base. It’s also very easy to use. It’s a plug and play mic so you don’t have to download or buy any additional interfaces to get quality sound from it. And it does produce quality sound. I received so many compliments about how great/professional my audio sounded (I use the microphone for work and audio recordings). Unfortunately, 2 weeks into using the microphone, I started having issues with subtle white noise. After I failed to isolate and troubleshoot the issue myself, I reached out to Maono’s support and they were very responsive. They also attempted to help me figure out what was going on with my audio and when we could not resolve the white noise issues, they sent me a brand new microphone as a replacement. I found this very generous of them as I was only asking for a replacement cable. So while I might have received a defective product, their support staff’s responsiveness and willingness to help me resolve my issues despite my Amazon return window lapsing earns them 5 stars. So thankful that this company stands behind their products and are willing and able to make things right.*just a note: I think their support staff may be located outside the country… only because they would usually email me back in the middle of the night for me. Otherwise, we had no issues communicating.

Note - I used this for YouTube video creation so my experience is colored by that need. Stepping up from cheap USB old style PC mics,a headset or other sub 50$ mic this is like a dream.The included items are of good quality and above the price point value wise in my estimation.If you are only able to get a sub 50$ mic and don't have one with glaring issues already, this is a very good buy.The shock mount is decent, though I could still pick up vibrations through the mic on the desk which I think has more to do with the USB.The boom arm is.. serviceable, it meets the minimum requirements and works, this price point that's what you get.The not so good;1. The USB cable seems to be a major weak point for this mic. Whether the cable itself is poorly shielded, the coupler to the mic, etc. I am unsure. However, when you have it plugged in if you lightly brush the cable with your hand you can hear this in recording. If you have it coiled and hanging on a desk where the PC resides you will hear the vibrations and hum.2. Again either the mic build or USB, something isn't quite right so I get, not loud but enough that when your going for a clean setup and have silent parts of a video for example, you can hear crackles and interference on the unit.These are things you won't notice unless you are doing some level of professional or approaching professional recording for a podcast or YouTube or some such. Zoom calls, meetings, using it with a soft phone, even actual streaming this is negligible or not noticable at all and this mic is a perfect point to upgrade from essentially nothing to mostly crisp, clear, very nice sounding audio without breaking the bank.

The mic has good polar sensitivity and neutral frequency response. Boom is quite good for the price. Not as sturdy as much more expensive models, but perfectly functional. The only drawback is the limited mounting options available with the base, but I can't think what would be much better other than a more permanent mounting solution. Pop shield works fine, clamp is finicky, but, again, workable, and it's great that it's included. Cable length is very good, and different USB connection types are appreciated. Very happy with this purchase, after being disappointed with a more expensive and highly recommended microphone..Why did you pick this product vs others?:Price for complete package, and positive reviews.
