These socks rate 3 stars for me, as the tops are quite tight. They are thin and the foot fits well, but the tops are tighter. If you don’t have larger ankles, these would be ok. But for those of us with larger ankles, they are too tight.

I cant stand to wear socks and shoes due to my feet feeling constricted and hot. When I tell you these socks are so comfortable, believe it. Soft, cozy, and breathable. Just what I need in my work shoes in this summer heat. Everytime I put them on it put a big smile on my face. Will definitely purchase over and over.

Son calcetines delgados y bonitos, pero están apretados en la parte de la pierna. Yo tengo las piernas delgadas y me aprietan un poco. Tampoco me gustó que con las lavadas se les hacen bolitas.

I do like these socks but the color block on the toe of the sock is in the wrong place. It looks like there's a color stamp on the sock that is decorative in nature, but it misses the mark. If should be above the toe-seam, and instead is just below it.Now, the socks are fine! I love the socks, and once you put shoes on, you can't set that anyway. They are comfortable, they aren't super tight on my leg, and they don't fall down. They are warm without being super thick. They aren't thin like a dress sock, I would say medium thickness.It only bothers me when my shoes are off. Enjoy!

I wear this with both my flight deck approved US Navy boots and rough out brown steel toe boots and they are excellent in warmer environments. These are thinner socks without much cushioning, but that makes them ideal when it’s hot and/or humid out. The material breathes very well and seems to be reasonably durable, as none of my socks have yet to develop holes in them despite regularly marching in them during my schooling, as well as completing various physical tasks while working in a joint environment. I’ve also tried the regularly recommended darn tough socks as well as other merino wool varieties, and in hot environments these socks were far more comfortable and my feet didn’t feel like a sauna by hour four of being outside. They also dry reasonably quickly so if you do need to rewear them the next day, they won’t retain moisture like cotton socks and some thicker synthetic socks tend to do. Importantly, the socks stay safely above the top of my 8 inch boots without any issues, and did not shrink after being washed.While these are best suited for moderate to hot climates, I’ve worn them hiking in the winter on snow packed mountains and they were absolutely fine in my winter boots. I certainly wouldn’t recommend these if you’re looking for a pair of socks that can be relied upon for warmth but if your boots and pants already take care of that, these will be do the job.Although these socks aren’t as cheap as the bulk issued cotton socks, they’re well worth the price if you need to wear crew length black socks. I’m so confident in their overall value that I’ve bought three sets of them and regularly recommend them to friends in the Navy.

Comfortable, yet uncomfortable wore a pair the other night and it was like the pain of the surgery from years ago had come back to haunt me, then I realized the socks were too tight.

Bought these to wear with my Dr Marten's and they did not disappoint. The material is light and airy, with great elasticity and the color will not fade easily. Yes, they may be a little tight around the ankle but I prefer it that way because it does not ride down after long hours of wearing like other brands.
