Features and Specification
Note: The mounting arms for this projector mount have a maximum reach of 14”. Before purchasing, be sure to find the mounting holes on top of your projector and measure the distance between each one (especially the ones diagonal from one another). If all diagonals measure 14 inches or less then this mount will fit your projector. We are online for you 24/7, do not hesitate to contact us regarding any issue related to this product.
Could not get it tight and is always moving.
This is a well-made and reasonably well-designed ceiling mount. It's heavy-duty and easy to assemble. My only criticism relates to the design as applied to UST (ultra short throw) projectors. With a laser UST projector and a fixed screen size, there is no zoom capability so there is a need to be able to finely adjust the distance to the screen, not just the tilt axes (redesign could easily be done by adding a slot in the ceiling plate of the mount). I built a a wooden plate with slots for the ceiling mount screws (and replaced the lag bolts with machine screws and fender washers -- see photo (washers are not visible, as they sit between the screw heads and the top surface of the plate). With that plate screwed into the ceiling joists, I was able to adjust the distance to the screen and have a nice, rectangular image with no need for keystone adjustment.
I have a large projector so needed this bigger mount. Works well. A little hard to get it to stay when adjusting down angle but I got it eventually
Got this to use with an Optoma UHD50X, which has three mount holes relatively close to one another in a triangular pattern. The included mounting arms fit with no issues, and I didn't need the arm extensions at all. I really appreciate that the box came with all the hardware I needed with a ton of screws and washers in different sizes, so I would imagine this could work for almost any projector. The instructions were also simple to follow and made installation relatively quick. I'd recommend getting this if you want a great low-profile projector mount that's sturdy, easy to adjust, and stays put.
Super sturdy, easy to install. and fully adjustable for any angle! My projector feels 100% secure. Perfect for home theaters and gaming setups- totally worth it!"
I've worked IT at a school, so I've encountered a lot of different projector mounts. This is the best in every way.
It's low profile which I need, solid metal, very adjustable. Only problem is sometimes it's hard to get the pivots points tight enough to stay. Also I'm pretty sure i reviewed this already but amazon sent me a link to review it so.. yea. I'd buy one again but won't need to
I needed a mount for my Epson 3800, which requires 13 inch span on mounting arms. I had to return 2 previous mounts because was stated they were applicable for my projector and then weren't. Finally found this. Took about an hour to install and I like that it only comes down 5 inches from the ceiling so projector is out of the way and less noticeable. A friend asked, do you really want to trust a 23 dollar mount to hold your 1300 dollar projector. I replied, It's sturdy and well made. Why should I discriminate against it because it's not expensive.
