08-03-2026I thought I had submitted a prior review where I gave it a 5. I purchased the 10lb which I NEVER do and tell my friends the same. Loved it for 2 months then today I broke the braid on something, no leader in site so it broke well above. Tied on a brand new 20 lb flouro leader. Couple cast later I set the hook on what I am sure was a huge snook or red. Just saw a huge boil the fish didn't move, it was BIG. Snapped the braid clean again, heart broken.

08-03-2026I was looking for an alternative to Suffix Advance 832 15 lb braided line and decided to buy this. The 15 lb Suffix had a tendency to become frayed within a few days of usage, leading to having to cut line and retie leaders and swivels many times to prevent line from snapping while casting with lures in the saltwater. I've been using this line for about 2 months now and have seen no fraying and haven't had my line snap. I've also noticed that this line stays stiff while the Suffix has a tendency to become weak and loose. I'd recommend this line for people who cast with lures in the saltwater.

08-03-2026Seems like good braid, but some of the green coating came off while I was spooling it onto my reel. I contacted Seaguar three times for feedback and heard nothing. Hopefully it doesn't hinder performance. Not sure about longevity of the colour. Casts really well. Easy to see. MUCH cheaper elsewhere so shop around!!!Update: The colour fades quickly. The fibres tend to unravel easily too.

08-03-2026This line is on the expensive side but is probably the best I have ever used. Ties easy, doesn’t twist, doesn’t fray and has no memory. Compared to other braided lines this is the best I have found. I’ve only used the 10# line for Speck fishing in South Florida but with most line you need to remove 5-10 feet after every trip to get rid of the fray. I fish this line a year (30-50 trips) and change it yearly.
