Ordered one for Christmas. Went snowboarding last week. Didn't think to open it until we went snowboarding as it was just a large plush vacuum sealed. Turned out it was waaayyyy smaller than expected. For how cheap they are to make I wish I opened the package sooner and got my money back..

This is a really good product. It has been used by 11 years old boy who is learning how to snowboard and he loves it. It reduces the impact of falling and it looks great. Highly recomended.

Got it for my little sister when we went to Park City Utah, and it works great. Avoided a lot of tail bone injuries. Does get heavy when used all day because it soaks up the melted ice water

Works great! Used while learning to snowboard. Gives a little bit of cushion but don’t expect it to take all the brunt of the fall. It’s also takes some positioning to get where you actually need it during a fall.

Excellent cushion - more effective than I thought it would be because it's quite thick. Very comfortable and adjustable. Bonus that you can still sit on the chair lift without taking it off. More effective than the padded bike pants. Highly recommended!

The turtle’ size is good but you gotta buckle up to let the turtle cover all your butt. And I’ve been asked a lot times about this turtle and got a lot likes❤️❤️❤️

Very cute and helped so much. I am learning to snowboard and this turtle of safety came in handy this season. I did fall pretty hard on it at the end of the season and it tore a bit. It's an easy fix. I got many compliments oh how cute it is.

If I could give zero stars, I would! Don’t waste your money, this product is junk! Runs very small and isn’t comfortable to wear. Seller accepted my return but it would cost more money to send back than actually paid. Hate flushing money down the toilet- very disappointed!

Looks and function 8/10, I could fall on my butt on a hard surface and not get hurt. But after one use, the seams started ripping. Durability 2/10

I bought this hip protector for my son who is learning to snowboard. When you first start learning to snowboard, you often fall over towards your hips a lot. So, your hips really hurt. If it hurts too much, you might not want to learn snowboarding anymore. That's why I bought this hip protector. It provides protection even when you just fall over. Even if you accidentally land on your butt while jumping, your hips don't hurt much. Watch the video I uploaded. My son jumped and landed on his butt, but look at his expression, he doesn't seem to be in pain at all. If you want to learn snowboarding, you should get this first.One thing to note is that when a young child gets on the lift chair, an adult should hold them securely from the side. It's not easy for small children whit this hip protector to sit on the chair. It's okay to take off the velcro tape on the legs, turn the protective gear from the hips to the waist or belly, and then sit.
