Highly recommend, plenty of space and well designed. great value for money

First, I must state that I rarely write an in-depth review...only when something really stands out (good or bad). In this case, it is the former. I am absolutely amazed at the high level of product packaging, design, functionality, quality, and anticipated durability.As seen in other reviews, the bag arrived in 'Apple-like' fashion, with a ton of thought placed on the presentation and experience of opening a quality item. The bag arrived in three purposeful layers of packaging: a nice plastic bag wrap to prevent mold/scratches, etc., then a beautiful black cloth outer bag for gifting/scratch prevention, and then a first class, Augus-labeled, jet black bubble wrap for added protection during shipping -- upon unpacking, I was sure that Amazon made a mistake and sent me a $600 bag. Love this attention to the details!As for the bag itself, the leather has the perfect thickness and stiffness to provide protection for laptops without too much weight. Hardware is very nice and robust with shoulder strap clips that are quick release, but with a lot of metal overlap to prevent accidental unclipping. Zippers feel robust and have very nice riveted and sewn leather pulls. The interior lining is nicely done with excellent stitching and a very finished look. The design layout of pockets, pen holder, card holder, pockets, etc. is intuitive -- obviously designed by someone who travels extensively. In truthfulness, I just received so I can only anticipate the durability; however, I've flown well over a million miles with everything from $10 duffle bags, to a variety of briefcases and messenger bags, to the standard Wenger backpack that you see the high-milers use on almost every international flight -- that said, I know enough about what works and doesn't to have a really good feeling how this bag will perform. I'm so confident in the Augus, I'm leaving the Wenger at home (permanently) and this will be my new daily bag as well as travel bag.I stand by the review title -- BUY ONE OF THESE NOW, because its worth 3x the price. Very well done Augus...you've earned my future bag business as well as recommendations to others.Augus, I do have one marketing suggestion: I encourage you to stamp (or tag) the bags with your 'Augus' brand. You have a great product that I am confident your customers will want to exhibit and proudly share your brand name.

I rarely ever leave a review on a product, but this one is deserving of one! I wanted to wait and use the bag for a while before I left my review. I've had it for over a month now and I am extremely impressed! As some of you may have read in other reviews, as did I, the bag does have a raw leather smell to it when you receive it. I can assure you the strength of the smell goes away after a few days, and smells like you would expect any leather product to smell. I am shocked that this bag is priced as low as it is for what you get. It's very well made and has plenty of pockets and compartments. I'm still trying to find a use for all of them. The strap is adjustable and extremely comfortable on my shoulder. The bag looks very fashionable, too. I wear a lot of black, gray, and Navy for work and this compliments all of them. My one and only complaint/suggestion would be to add a second zipper to the center compartment. The other two have dual zippers, but for some reason the center one only has one. This is the one that I use the most so it would be more convenient if it had two and the others just had one. I'm not sure what their reasoning for this is...? I would definitely buy this bag again, and I'm currently considering buying one as a backup before the price shoots up. If you're on the fence go ahead and pull the trigger. I promise you you will be happy with this bag.

The four stars has nothing to do with the item I purchased, because the item I did purchase is actually nicer than the picture. It was stated in the description that it would be delivered well before I needed. That is the primary reason that I ordered that particular item. Well needless to say a couple days after I checked my emails and find that this item will not be delivered well after (about 12 days later). And on top of that it was sent out from Baltimore, I live in Delaware, and they sent it out to Colorado. I could have driven out to Baltimore and picked it up, it's an hour and a half away. And now I have to box it up and pay myself to have it shipped out. Called Amazon right away and there was nothing they could do, other than buy another Messenger bag have it sent to where we were traveling to and when we return and the Bag arrived, I could send it back and get my money back.But the Messenger bag is beautiful and well made, I love it.

I like this bag and it has met my expectations. It has plenty of room and easy to carry with shoulder strap. It is very functional for my needs. Quality of leather seems to be good, I have only had for about a week so too early to say anything about the quality of leather.

Lovely leather. Feels sturdy. The zips run smoothly and the size is just right. Also comfortable on my shoulder. The added bonus of the strap on the back to slot over a suitcase handle is very insightful. Very happy with my purchase!

The look and finish to the briefcase are first class. it's got a lot more pockets and sections than I will ever use, but is perfect for what I want. When I get to travel again this will be fabulous, but in the meantimeI will enjoy using it, even if its just going from the lounge room to the office room

I looked through over a dozen different leather bags, read through many reviews. What I liked about this bag:- leather feels genuine and not that fake types out there- quality is very high, stitching is strong and handles/zippers look sturdy- the back loop for a carry on is not just nice but necessity if you travel- Mary Poppins style meaning so many pockets and compartments everywhere. There is literally nothing you can’t fit in here! Laptop, iPad, reMarkable, notepads, books, pens, cards, charging cables case, passports, wallet, external battery etc etcThere is one thing I don’t like:Because there is so much space, you tend to put a lot of stuff in it which makes it super heavy to carry outside of on top of a carry-on. So it does get a little bulky, not one of those thin leather satchels.
