08-03-2026Got this for my soon to be 8 year old for the winter. Ordered in size 8. When it's together it keeps him warm and dry. We've use the outer shell as a rain jacket and it works great! Not necessarily warm on its own but is very water resistant. The inner shell when on its own is pretty warm! Not the warmest but definitely does its job. The inner shell is a tad but smaller than the outer shell I assume so that it can fit inside. But everything fits well the outside is a little big but nothing uncomfortable. It's a great jacket but I think the quality could be a little better as far as the stitching etc. BUT it does what it claims and for a good price my kid loves it

08-03-2026My 13 year old is small for his age, I ordered the large just because I didn't want it to be too small. It's a little big on him but reading the reviews allowed me to be prepared for the fit.It is nice and warm and eith the detachable fleece liner it makes it for a nice out and about jacket, a thinner rain jacket, or a nice warm winter coat.Overall we're very pleased with the way it looks, feels, and the size.

08-03-2026The jacket has a very thin windbreaker shell. The hood was paper thin. Zero protection against the wind and not lined at all.Fleece lining was nice but not sufficient for cold winter weather due to poor outer shell.

08-03-2026I bought this coat for my son. When it arrived we were in the middle of an Arctic cold front with -20° temps and colder wind chill. He never got cold while out for periods longer than 30 minutes with this coat. While we haven't had it long enough to say how well it will hold up, it seems to be built well and is comfortable. My son loves this coat and it was a great price.
