I use this tool box to store small guitar tools. It serves it's purpose but I'm about to outgrow it already. It works very well for storing the tools I have now though. The cantilever construction is a good design but you can only put small tools in it. It's probably better suited for storing small parts with maybe a few larger tools in the bottom. There is see through storage on top which is handy for small parts too. I like this box but It could be bigger. That said, it is working well for the purpose intended for now.
Was not what I expected but kept it anyway. I’ve seen the same thing if not better for five bucks cheaper. Everything has to fit just so on the three tears or you can’t close it. If you force it, it will not close properly And spring open when you grab the handle and everything dumped out of the box and caused over an hour to pick up all my items and put them in properly. How stupid. Me or you? And spring open when you grab the handle and everything dumped out of the box and caused over an hour to pick up all my items and put them in properly. How stupid. Me or you? Spend more time trying to lay things flat in order to close and you’re left with several items not being able to fit. This is meant for very few items if you want to take advantage of all three tears needs to be taller with three tears. Sorry ?
The package arrived on time and unscathed.
I've been using it for years. Durable for the price.
For me, I look for myself, not the others. This item has not enough deep layers
I mean its a plastic box, I didnt expect it to be super sturdy, but actually it seems to be holding up well. The bottom has a x pattern of supporting plastic which gives it some security from the bottom falling out. I stuffed way more tools in it than I expected and the slots in the trays are reasonably sized for organizing smaller things. There is a top compartment thats used to organize things like screws, but the dividers dont go all the way to the lid so every time you open the main box they get all mixed up. If anything the clips that hold the main box closed seem to be the most likely to give out, but they seems to be holding fine so far. For what I paid it does its job
lid hits the self when closing can not get fingers in between shelves
Classic toolbox sturdy enough for my boys rector set.
I use it for storing luthier tools as well as various guitar parts. Segmentation is good, but small things (tiny screws, metal grommets, etc.) stored in the clear view lid imbedded in the exterior of the lid fall between the partitions and get scattered within the total area of the compartment. I solved this by putting a small magnet below the imbedded compartment (inside the lid) to hold them in place.I'd give it five stars for this light duty use, but I didn't want to do that and have someone try to carry their 12" and 15" set of pipe wrenches in there...it would be a toss up as to whether the handle would break before the bottom fell out, but no good would come of it either way. So, 4 stars it is...
I have been looking for a large enough art box for all of my supplies, but I can’t find one large enough, so I have split them up and I have large tubes of Golden acrylic paint plus small ones, a small bottle of gesso, and brush cleaner and brushes. I was able to fit ALL of them into a box without trouble and still have nothing in the outside top flip up spaces! They are not quite big enough for much more than pencil sharpeners, charcoal and erasers, but I just have a pencil sharpener and a white plastic eraser in them.
OK, BUT A LITTLE FLIMSY.
Perfect size to fit under the the back seat in my little truck.
i liked the fact that it holds all of my small hardware as well as my tools
