This is a great, fairly easy to use staple gun.I had privously bought and returned two other staple guns due to difficulties
Between my father and I, we have owned every variation of light use staple gun made - the standard ones, the forward action ones, the electric ones, and multiple of each. The standard is a solid performer, but placement requires a steady hand, and when doing tasks like attaching lattice under a deck, it can be tricky to get placement and depth right. The Forward action gives better depth of staples, but can still be tricky to position. The electric ones fail quickly. This design is perfect - load a staple (some pressure required), place the stapler, brace the part above the stapler position, click. You can flip a switch and have it turn into a traditional stapler that triggers immediately upon loading, if accuracy is less important than speed. The only better one are pneumatic/air powered, and even if you have one of those, this should be your backup. An entire deck worth of lattice put up, with no misses, and only one staple not seated fully, when my son was getting the hang of it. A pleasure to use.
This is an easy to use staple gun. It does not jam like others I have used in the past. It's easy to load and can be used one handed. It's durable and made of quality materials.
Absolutely brilliant the trigger system. It’s very easy to operate.
Use these at work for attaching ID tags to pallets. No issue at all going into a hardwood pallet. So this should be more than enough for any home job or household project. We do not use the precise trigger method, but if you were doing upholstery, i could for sure see where it would be a big benefit.
Fantastic stapler highly recommend I'm a plasterer by trade and its perfect better than leading brands
The trigger mode, where you can prime the firing and then squeeze a trigger to drive the nail, is a very novel and even more useful feature. I used this to secure insulation in my crawlspace. with the fogging of my goggles, I could barely see. So the trigger feature made it much easier to secure the twine holding up the batting. Used it for some simple upholstery work as well. While not as strong of driving strength as say my pneumatic staple gun, it is not meant to be a replacement for a pneumatic staple gun. this is a manual stapler that uses T50 staples, and is meant for moderate duty jobs at most-just like any manual staple gun.
Works well!
Like many of you I’ve owned probably 10 or 20 different stapler like this over the years. I’m 50 years old and a woodworker. I know quality when I see it and hold it. The grip is absolutely fantastic and the power it has to drive. The nail through hardwood is fantastic. I love the ability to decide if I want to use the trigger or traditional lever handle. Yes it’s a little more pricey than the average stapler but in this case you get what you pay for. You should not have to buy another stapler for a while.I use this to drive half inch stables into White Oak for a Tambor slide project I’m working on. I usually went through 150 staples in each one of them sink flush through the fabric and wood. I’m definitely happy with my purchase and don’t regret to buy.
Very easy to use....wish I'd had one years ago, so easy on the grip...Added bonus, it uses Stanley staples
I actually hate it. It works as advertised, they just don’t tell you that it’s not so easy.Depress the handle, place where you want it, pull the trigger.Or place it and depress the handle and it sends a staple immediately.Problem is I work with gloves and the handle is too high to grab quickly after placing the tarp or plastic sheet. So I set it for the trigger.Just remember to depress the handle before placing whatever you’re stapling, because you might need two hands to do it. I did.I should’ve got the hammer type stapler.Standing on a ladder, holding the plastic in place and fighting with my stapler?Sheesh.
brilliant strong stapler!
Great stapler. Love the trigger function which is so useful for tricky spaces. Zero jams so far and it bangs the staples in really well. Very happy

Surebonder has always been a trendsetter in the fastening market. That statement holds true as shown by the unique and appealing aesthetics of the TriggerFire staple gun. The first feature that catches your eye is the groundbreaking green trigger. This trigger allows for powerful one-handed stapling without having to squeeze the handle in awkward positions. Simply set the green dial to trigger mode and squeeze the handle. You are now primed to fire a staple with the pull of a trigger.
Tigger Mode: Squeeze the handle then pull the trigger when ready to fire. Normal Mode: Squeeze the handle to fire (same process as a "normal" staple gun) Great for use in tight spaces or hard to reach places Compatible with both Surebonder #4 staples and Arrow T50 staples
