08-03-2026I'm fortunate that I had my first beer at the Hofbräuhaus in Munich. These steins are exactly as I remembered from my High School summer trip to Munich 31 years ago, (my parents signed the permission slip for a beer). A short sturdy lady delivered 9 of those liter steins filled with beer to our table (5 in the right hand, 4 in the left hand). I also had my second beer there too because I didn't want to miss out on trying the dark beer. I finished the dark beer and so I drank a liter and a half. I'll let you do the math because I graduated high school 30 years ago. Regardless I remember it well and these are the liter steins exactly as I remember them.I believe Germany won the football (soccer) world championship that day so the streets were filled with celebrations. I have perfect recall and I could touch my nose too. Which by the way I did many times to prove to my fellow students that my judgment was not impaired in any way by the drink. My laughter was purely joy and I suppose I was happy for Germany winning their games.Now you're probably wondering about how these glasses work. Well, Lo and behold these versatile glasses can be used to drink anything out of them. It works just as well with soda as it does with fruit punch. I've used it for several weeks now and I've had a reliable drinking experience. I give this product 5 stars.

08-03-2026Seams are much smoother than I expected. Doesn’t feel cheap, though not up to German standards. Polish maybe?Small cons: height is 9” not 8 so doesn’t fit shelf I had reserved; doesn’t hold 36 ounces as some reviews appear to claim, only about a liter and a pinch. Or maybe Euro beer cans are a bit smaller than US 12 ouncers?Two mugs came in set, really good price. Get compliments from men but women (non-German) generally have hard time lifting full mug one-handed.Mucho Macho!
