08-03-2026This braid frays less overtime than spider wire, so I think I’ll stick to trying Amazon fishing line but this manufacturer is using cheaper dye compared to something like spider wire. As you can see in the images I provided, holding the line makes the dye come off on your hands. Honestly I could care less but I just wanted to note this aspect- maybe overtime the dye will come completely off? who knows but I’ll try to update. Line quality is good besides that honestly and for the size spool you get, this is way better value for your money compared to something in stores. Thickness is comparable to spider wire but I do feel like this is a tighter braid or thicker lines within the braid compared to spider wire- you can feel the ridges within the braid on this whereas spider wire was loosely braided and you could pull the braid apart from any length of the line. Strength is also good and I trust the durability of the line brushing against rough surfaces like rocks.

08-03-2026Ive used the braid for awhile now with no problems. Last 2 spools I bought (1green/1yellow) have broken while just reeling in a lure. Must be defective . Missed the return date so I got to throw whats left out. Dont know if I would purchase again.Would give a 5 star if I hadnt run into this problem....

08-03-2026I have been using this brand, weight, and color for a few years now and have no complaints. Works great and is durable. I have been using it for snaring crabs and casting 10-15oz+ and the only time I lost a couple snares was because of a cracked ceramic guide that sliced the line, no fault of the line itself.Spooled on Penn 750SS, two 850SS, and two upgraded Daiwa DF100A.Good castability, knot strength.

08-03-2026I bought it out of interest in modern polymer filaments, but as a former avid fisherman (mainly spearfishing, but I wet a line quite often) it seems like it'd work at least as well and probably much better than nylon :)
