I live in MN where we are south of Neanderthal (jk). We have brutally cold temperatures. Example: today is 0° with a feel of -7°.I walk my JRTs in this type of weather on occasion and these gloves impressively hold up to the colder temperatures.I had ordered a very similar pair a couple years ago and ended up giving them to someone who needed them. I had to buy another pair, but I knew what I was getting, so that's why I ordered these. They are definitely worth $12. They are soft and "heavy duty" for what I need them for. I love that the thumbs are also available, whixh is great because that "feature" isnt always designed ina convertible gloveThey fit like a glove, pun intended. The reason I have 4 stars is because of the velcro. I know from my last pair that the velcro wears out within 6 months or less. I wish they would put little magnets in.Despite the velcro issue I recommend these. If you have circulation issues these are still great, but youmight have to go with a thicker glove if it getsunder zero. For me, I'm am out in zero to teen temps and theseare exactly what I need. I also love how I can getmy dogs business cleaned up easily and I don'thave to fight or take off my gloves. Great style andfunctionality! Also, if you live in the north, but have avreage temps above 20° these work just fine and they area good quality glove if you just need them forwalking or running, doing errands,They are NOT waterproof though, so don't falldown.Yes I recommend and will buy these again.Definitely recommend
I have bought over 30 pairs of gloves and have never been able to keep my hands warm. I have Reynaud's, which means under 60 degrees, I have no circulation in my fingers. However, for the first time ever, I was in 38 degree, rainy weather and my fingers and hands stayed SO warm!! They are light weight, I have small hands, and the small is perfect!! Great quality and very comfortable!! I take lots of photos, so being able to easily pull out my fingers and thumb was awesome!! I highly recommend these awesome gloves!!
These worked great on my winter photography trip. It was cold but these were so convenient, keeping my hands warm but allowing me the freedom to use my camera.
I really like and appreciate these gloves. In fact I gave this pair as a gift. The glove is warm, can be rolled up compactly and put in a backpack or pocket. The flip tip is practical, functional and fully successful. Flip down to keep hands and fingers warm. Flip the tip back and the velcro snap holds it in place. Now you have 1/2 gloves and can use your finger tips while the remainder of the hand stays warm.Reasonably durable. Light weight. Comfortable.Would (will) buy again if they ever need replacing.
This fingerless mitten is perfect for flexibility. You don’t have to remove them to reach for something. You can cover your fingers with the flap and keep warm. The fabric feels like a combo of felt and thermo. I got the Xtra large for myself and they fit well. A little room to move around. I am sure the will keep me nice and warm.
It’s very useful in the cold weather, made well with good material. I measured my hand lengths as directed and it was supposed to be large size. However, it’s smaller than I expected. I wish the size chart was little more accurate.
UPDATE: I’ve worn these out in 5 Wisconsin winter walks with temps between 10 - 35 degrees F, and my fingers and hands haven’t been cold at all! I haven’t had to use my hand warmers. I actually usually wear these gloves with the fingertips section folded back because the palm part of the glove is quite toasty. I think I’m going to order a second pair before these are no longer available!ORIGINAL POST: I got these this morning and wore them on a 2 hour walk in the woods. The temperature was 20 degrees F. Out of the package I was worried because they seemed somewhat thin, but they really did the trick on my walk. They kept my hands very warm. My hands are 7 1/2 inches from the bottom of my palm/edge of wrist to the top of my middle finger. I have thin, long fingers and am a woman. I ordered a size large and they fit very well. I highly recommend them! ~Christina
These are nice and warm and can easily fit a handwarmer inside, which is what I wanted. I also wanted to wear a pair of liners underneath, which fit nicely. My hands get very cold, so I need multiple layers as well as handwarmers. They seem to be durable and definitely worked out well. The only way to use them for touchscreen is to remove the mitten part and expose your fingers to the cold.
Nice fit and Velcro to keep finger cover good
