I’ve been using the Rode Lavalier GO Professional Wearable microphone for several events and interviews, and it has consistently exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is clear, crisp, and professional, making it ideal for capturing interviews in various environments, from quiet rooms to more crowded spaces. The microphone is lightweight and discreet, which is perfect for any event or recording situation where you want to maintain a sleek, unobtrusive appearance. The setup is incredibly easy, and it connects seamlessly with my camera and audio equipment, saving me time on every shoot. The cable length is just right, providing enough freedom of movement without being too long or cumbersome. I’ve even used it in outdoor settings, and the audio quality remains top-notch, even with wind or background noise.Overall, this microphone is a fantastic investment for anyone in need of high-quality, portable audio equipment. Whether you're recording a formal interview or capturing a live event, the Rode Lavalier GO delivers incredible value and performance. Highly recommend!

I bought mine in 2021 and its still professional sound. You just can't beat it. Recently I tried using it on my Zoom H6 and figured out how to use it with that. You plug into the 3.5mm jack thats on the XY microphone module. Then you MUST set it to "plugin power," which is NOT PHANTOM POWER. Phantom power will destroy the mic from too much voltage. Then choose LR channel and control mic volume with the volume knob thats ON the XY mic module. It works fabulously in the H6. Will be using it in future videos where I need my hands free without having to use a wireless setup that just gets too much noise. This mike is noiseless.....GET ONE.

The Rode Lavalier GO is a fantastic little lavalier microphone that delivers professional-grade audio in a discreet package. I was particularly drawn to the white version, as it blends seamlessly with light-colored clothing, making it ideal for situations where you want to minimize the visibility of the microphone.I chose this lav mic over the Rode Lav 2 specifically because of the capsule placement. The top-mounted capsule is perfect for hiding under clothing, as it avoids being muffled when pressed against fabric. This makes it a great choice for filmmaking, stage performances, or any situation where you need clear audio without a visible microphone. The sound quality is excellent, capturing clear and natural vocals with minimal background noise. The included pop shield effectively reduces plosives, and the Kevlar-reinforced cable ensures durability. The mounting clip is also sturdy and keeps the mic securely in place.

Running my GoPro with this plugged into the Media Mod case and it works well. The sound wasn't as crisp as I would have preferred (had the GoPro on my windshield and the microphone close to the engine, but the mike didn't capture the enjoy noise as much as I would have preferred.) Not a bad recording, just didn't have the gain that I was expecting.

Very, very pleased. I thoroughly researched the model, compared specs, saw all the reviews -- but it's when you yourself actually test them, that's when it either makes it or it doesn't. And man oh man... stellar sound. And I ran it straight to the DSLR, no preamp, nothing like that.I had to turn down microphone sensivity from default 15 to 9 -- was a bit too loud even with the mic placed on my shirt a 10-12 inches from the source (my mouth). So, with mic about mid way down my buttonline, 10... and I was in the yellow speaking relatively low. Raise my voice as if talking to the wall, would hit red. So... yes... it picks up sound! But it clearly isolates sound in that range from the fan in the room, from noise outside an window (open, only a screen in separating me from street noise). Crisp clear voice, neither bassy nor too bright. Just really, really clear "me."I added a cheap 20' extension. No change. Hitting same values, and I would have no way of knowing I had 24' of cord between me and the camera. No induced noise, static, nothing.VERY very pleased. At $58, there may be cheaper ways to produce "indistinguishable-to-me" results. I understand that. And I've seen a couple videos that pooh-poohed a creator's need for something of this quality. But know what else my $58 bought? Peace of mind and confidence in a trusted brand name. I have no regrets at all and am quite pleased this one ONLY cost $58.Waiting on a TRR to TRRS adaptor to come so I can test it on my iPhone. In that case, I KNOW a $19 headset has improved sound over the internal mic. But I imagine this will kick it's cheapo little butt. I'll be back to add an edit with my results.

First time buying anything from Rode after I heard plenty of good reviews about it, the sound quality is great but the build quality is not the best. I expect something that is almost 100$ to be a little bit better in that category, not a huge deal breaker but it's apparent. I use this mic for plenty of things and it worked great in each one, it's compatible on many products but I mainly use this on my GoPro for moto vlogging. The cord is a little longer than I expected which is a good thing incase you need more length. Very simple mic to plug in and use with the right connecters but I'm still concerned about the wires durability since it feels like I can snap it easily. Either way, great mic just be aware of the build quality

We have several RODE GO sets and sometimes adding a lav mike makes sense.Do not expect it to have the quality of a full blown Shure or Sennheiser pro level lav. However, for recording, live streaming and for occasional live mixing through a board it is fantastic and at £50-£60 is significantly better than the £30 other options out there. For me, it has a good pick up across the spectrum but is a little weak at the lower frequencies (I would not want to use it with Bobby Bass, for example). So, in summary, if you are using the GO and need to have the lav facility then it is a no brainer - get it and pop them in the RODE GO case.If you have an occasional requirement for a Lav mike to go into a mixer or PA of some kind then this is a cheap way to do it with a degree of quality. If you want a backup recording recorded via a lav mike then again it is a no brainer - the Rode Go Transmitters and Pro Transmitters have recording on board and it works incredibly well.A quick note on build and quality: It is RODE. So expect it to be good. And the quality of the fly lead, clip, 3.5mm TS plug and of course the mike is definitely what you would expect with Rode and teh Rode Go series of products.I hope this helps with you decision.

Just what I needed to give my Wireless Go II microphone some additional concealability.Works perfectly with the Go II microphone and sounds just as good as the mic by itself. Plenty of length to keep the transmitter in your pocket and run the cord up to your shirt collar.
