This tablet is so disappointing. It is very, very slow.
I wanted a cheap tablet specifically for flying and using in-flight entertainment systems to watch movies. In this regard it's only okay. It does freeze more often than it should while using the plane's wi-fi ( but when I tried the same wi-fi with my phone, the same movie plays fine ).But downloading movies before the flight and watching them on the tablet works great. The picture quality is very good and no lagging at all.
Got tablet and signed in to Google account to be able to install apps from Play Store. Found Play Store did not have Netflix. Installed everything else just fine. Tried to download Netflix as an APK file. It installed but did not put icon on Home Screen. Tried to do same thing with Aptoide and it installed with no icon also. Got in touch with Pritom Tech Support and Amazon Tech Support. Neither could figure out problem. Wanted me to update Play Store and I could not find it on Play Store. Started looking at APPs in System Settings and found there was no way to delete Cache and Data. Only things available was Disable and Uninstall. Amazon Tech Support told me to return tablet and they sent another one. New tablet does the same thing. Pritom Tech Support is trying to figure out what is going on.I do not think the system in tablet is programmed to handle APK files installation. The System setting for icons is set to install icon on installation of new apps but will not do it for anything but apps from Play Store. Overall the tablet has good resolution and sound. It is reasonably fast on WiFi. Since I will be using the tablet mostly for reading books, the APK problem is not a big deal for the price of the tablet.Tablet started slowing down. Several downloaded apps started becoming unresponsive. Started taking one to two minutes for an app to open. Finally gave up and trashed it.
First off, this isn't a bad tablet for the price. If you want an e-reader or to surf the web and play word games that aren't processor or graphics-intensive, this is great for that. I bought this to replace my old Pritom L10 tablet that died. Understand that you're not getting an iPad pro here..The pros: Great size, light, good battery life. Can take an SD card and has a real headphone jack. Nicely packaged and a charger is included. No preinstalled 'trial' apps or other garbage, and plain Android without some crappy manufacturer's skin on top of it.The cons: It's slooooww. If I knew it was this slow I would have chosen something better. It's adequate for my needs, but just only. It takes a long time to boot and struggles with all but the simplest of apps. Even if you have rotation lock turned on, it boots into landscape mode and you have to toggle rotation lock off, orient it to portrait, then turn the lock back on. The power and volume buttons are also at the lower right of the tablet in portrait mode, just where you want to hold the thing. So you are always hitting these inadvertently if you primarily use portrait mode, like I do. The build quality is okay.. but it does feel cheap and plasticky. (which it is) No metal here. And a basic case would have been a nice inclusion. And the version of Android included seems to be a bit stripped down with less customization available. Though I'm happy that it isn't encumbered with a ton of preinstalled crap like so many are.To sum up, for the price, this is a good tablet for simple purposes and to throw in a bag when traveling for a reader and light use, and it gets stolen your wallet won't be hurting. It doesn't seem like it's something you'd want to get a younger child as it would be broken in a flash.
I love how fast this tablet is. Browsing, playing games, and switching between apps is super smooth; I haven't noticed any lag at all. This tablet is incredible
Awesome tablet, some little glitches, price was great though
First and foremost, buy a screen protector for this tablet. The plastic on the screen is very soft - after a couple days of gentle use I have a couple small scratches. This is an inexpensive Android tablet that is a great value for the money. Its cheap - it's not a fast processor, nor does it have the awesome interface like my former Galaxy tablet (that cost 4 times as much). With all that said it works great for what I want - an inexpensive e-reader with a few convenient features like limited browsing and music. It will do more - movies are fine if you download them first. It only works on 2.4 Ghz WiFi networks, and it has limited memory. Like I said, it's cheap so don't expect all that expensive performance and features. So far so good, I will add an update after I get to use it for a while.
I bought this PRITOM 10-inch tablet for my elder mom so she could play her favorite games and stay entertained, and it’s been wonderful. The screen is bright and clear, the size is just right, and it runs smoothly without any lag. She finds it easy to use, which was very important for us.The battery life is solid—she can play for hours without worrying about charging. Having the 64GB of storage means she has plenty of room for her apps and photos. Setup was simple, and it connected to WiFi right away. It’s not overly complicated, which makes it less intimidating for her, but it still feels modern and capable. For the price, I’m really impressed, and most importantly—my mom is happy!
Marche très bien
I have now had some time using this Android-based tablet and so far have been very impressed with the overall quality for the price it's listed on here is almost too good to be true. The price is good for what I received. It's running on the old Android 9 but this isn't a deal-breaker. Especially with what we are using it for, mostly watching videos or browsing the web. The tablet has no problems with numerous tabs open and even a game playing in the background. The initial start-up it does take a minute to get set up and ready for use but this is with any tablet, once it's ready and running thing is a beast for only having 2GB of RAM. And surprisingly does quite well for it.Another good thing to mention is the tablet I paid for has 32GB of memory this is another main reason why I wanted this model many tablets at this price range only have 16GB of memory and in 2020 this just isn't enough storage. With the option to add more via SD card.NO BLOAT WARE! Now, this is a must I don't want to buy a tablet with unnecessary bloatware that does nothing but take up space and who knows what else I am happy to say this tablet has none that I can tell.My son loves to play CODM or Fortnite even though the tablet has only 2GB it's able to keep up with Fortnite and CODM without worries. (Helps if you have good internet speed) but it does in fact work and no lag. With that 5000 mAh battery helps to stay charged for a good few hours. If just playing around on the web the battery will surely last much longer. The first thing I did once it arrived was charged it fully to 100% and let it drain to 0% for a better healthy battery.Lastly, I would like to end this by saying I enjoyed how this brand takes pride in the small details too like the packaging. Tablet came very nicely packaged with perfect instructions the box was shrinked wrapped in plastic wrap with a nice hardshell box.
