Ugly won't quit. Introducing the Ugly Stik Carbon series featuring 100% graphite for a lightweight rod, crisp actions and increased sensitivity while maintaining the legendary toughness you've come to expect from Ugly Stik. Fishing has gotten too pretty. Unscratched sparkle barges with nuclear-powered engines. Rods that act like skittish thoroughbreds instead of unshod workhorses. Fish pictures taken for ‘likes' instead of refrigerator doors. It's time to fish the way it's meant to be done, with tough, durable tackle built to provide ten whopper fish pics for every one of some dandy holding a fancy rod and a fingerling. It's time to fish ugly.

Seriously, a great rod. It's super light, like you're casting nothing at all. awesome!
Very light weight and nice product
I love this rod, lots of action, strong, and light weight
Esta muy padre la caña. Esperando utilizarla pronto.
Ugly stick toughness but lightweight. Love the red color. Has Strong backbone for a light rod.
So far really like this rod. Very light weight and ultra sensitive. Good for smaller fish but has the power to handle larger fish
Quality rod. Perfect fit to my hand and very sensitive to fish bites. Love it.
Great Update for A Classic Rod… And Way Lighter too
I bought this as a finesse rod. Decent action and sensitivity but I can feel the difference in weight in my hand between this rod and my St.Croix. That being said it was less than half the cost of my St.Croix so I can’t complain.Update: so I lost this rod/reel overboard and recovered it a week later which was awesome. This is still a great spinning rod with one terrible negative. The hook keeper placement catches the line one me in about 1 in every 5 casts if I am not paying specific attention to when I release the line on the cast. For the love of all things holy why would you put this on the same side of the rod on a spinning setup? Put it on the backside at a minimum or on the blank between the grip and the butt!
My go to throw around do anything pole. Built well and it’s an ugly stick so it can take a punch. I’ve brought 7lbs bass in with no problem afterwards break it down and toss the pole in the trunk, still works great. Great pole for the price and has a good sensitivity to it as well.
