Great deal for decent readers. They break, no biggie.
These have a larger lens area than the ones you get at the grocery store. I like that they filter the light. Seem sturdy! I bought a couple of packs of them so I could have them handy where ever I am in the house.
UPDATED at the end of my original review:I decided to give these a shot, mainly based on them having hinged frames. I have to have readers for my job, which entails a lot of bending over to lift and read up close. I see distance perfectly, so didn't want to spend 100s on prescription eyewear. So, I would buy readers at the "dollar" store, only to have them constantly fall off when I wear them on my button collar. Not only was it an annoyance, but I would constantly lose them as there are places I go for work where I might never return... and even if I did, I was never sure where exactly they fell off... I was going through about two pairs a month.I have to pick up and carry heavy, bulky items around my lower chest, so any type of lanyard I tried was just in the way, and while performing work duties was just as annoying as the glasses falling off.Out of the box, these stay FIRMLY clamped to my button collar- I even did a handstand and they stayed on...not really, I haven't actually done a handstand in my entire life, but I do think they would stay on if I did, or could, or would even try.My concern is that, considering the great price, that the hinges will quickly weaken to the point where I will be back where I started with them constantly 'flailing' or falling off altogether. BUT, benefit of the doubt for now and I look forward to not having my glasses flopping around with one arm coming lose, or outright falling off when I bend over. I will update this post and lower my rating if the hinges do fail within a few weeks of use.Why only 4 stars (so far)...? Why the forced color selection?? Black and Blue fine.... But I don't really want red or tortoise (especially). I can live the red, but really are thinking of these costing $3 each instead of $2 because the tortoise went straight to the trash. List a 6 pack of black for $13 and I probably wouldn't care if the hinges failed after a month. On another plus side, I will say these seem clearer than my dollar store readers. I think the lenses are probably of higher quality.UPDATE:I pushed my review up to 5 stars. These are such great value and have held up beautifully. The hinges have stayed firm and these do not fall off unexpectedly as my aforementioned cheapie dollar store pairs constantly did. Well worth it to just ditch the tortoise color or give them away. Would buy again, but I don't think I will have to!
Have had these for a while now and they are holding up. The springs are staying nice and springy, the frames aren't flaking, and the lenses aren't scratching. The lenses are not distorted or flawed and there is no glare. I was overall surprised at how nice these glasses were for the price and pleased with how well I can see with/through them.
Great price and are good when it comes to durability.
These are my go-to for cheap readers. Quality is better than most, and I really like the spring loaded hinges. Love the various colors, too.
I recently purchased the Boost Eyewear 6 Pack Reading Glasses with Traditional Frames, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and value they offer. This set is perfect for anyone who needs multiple pairs of reading glasses for different locations or occasions. The glasses come in a variety of classic frame styles, which are both stylish and comfortable. The traditional design is versatile, making them suitable for any setting, whether at home, in the office, or on the go. The frames are lightweight yet sturdy, providing a comfortable fit for extended wear without causing any discomfort. The lenses are clear and provide excellent magnification, making reading and other close-up tasks much easier. I appreciate the consistency in quality across all six pairs, ensuring that I have reliable vision correction wherever I need it.One of the best aspects of this pack is the value for money. Having multiple pairs means I can keep a pair in different rooms, my car, and my bag, so I always have them handy when needed. This convenience is a significant advantage for someone who frequently misplaces their glasses.
