Verizon Wireless Freetel eTalk Prepaid Flip Phone (Gray)

Ordered to replace my old worn out Verizon prepaid kazuna e talk phone. Verizon prepaid customer service representative gave me instructions on activating the newer phone. Works really good.

Got this flip phone for my wife and she loves it.

The phone does not work as expected. It kept freezing up when a call comes in and would stay that way until the phone is reset by removing the battery and placing it back. Very frustrating.

Item was not the same as pictured. Product looked used and repackaged. No SIM card! Had to keep it because the phone was needed immediately.

I love this phone for my 85 year old mother. This verizon flip phone is the only phone she's able to operate with no problems.

This is the best phone I have found for my 92-year-old friend.Upside:Basic phone function is intuitive and similar to classic cordless phones.The speaker is relatively loud, the buttons aren't too hard to push.Downside:The volume buttons are on the upper right and easy to press, so its very common to find that an elder has pressed them without realizing it, constantly dropping call volume and/or ringer volume.Anything involving text is awful and cumbersome, including entering names and info in contacts.The phone, while not delicate, is not robust, and doesn't stand up to the fumbling and dropping from neuropathic and arthritic hands.It's slim pickings out there for flip phones, and while not perfect, I havent found a better one.
